New Feature: EZ Upload
One of the reasons TotSites was created was to help save your precious time. I’m sure most of you would agree once little ones are part of your life, free time is harder to come by. When we do have a few moments, we would much rather take time to play with our kids or enjoy a few moments to sit back and relax. Sharing smiles, laughs and fun facts with friends and family is a great idea but hopefully it doesn’t take too much of your valuable time!
To keep with the theme, we added a new feature to help speed up the process of adding photos to your TotSite. Previously, there were several limitations on the way you could upload your photos (size requirements, the need to rotate photos prior to uploading, actual time needed to upload the files, creating “zip files” to be able to upload more than one photo etc.).
A new EZ Upload feature has been added that allows you to upload up to 50 photos at a time in an easy-to-use interface with speeds up to 20 times faster! This new feature will make updating and adding photos to your TotSite more efficient and fun perhaps leaving you with more free time to do other fun activities!  A few of the key features include:
Â
- Ability to rotate photos prior to uploading.
- Add description of each photos when uploading multiple photos.
- View thumbnails of the photos prior to uploading. Now you can see what you’re uploading instead of trying to remember what the photo is.
- The photos are optimized for your TotSite prior to uploading. This can reduce the time it takes to upload the photo up to 20 times!
- Select up to 50 photos at a time to upload.
- No file size limitations on photos.
Â
To use the new tool you will need to install either an “Active X” or “Java” control by Aurgrima Inc. These tools are part of a non-obtrusive program that makes this feature possible. Many of you may be familiar with these types of tools if you have used SnapFish, Costco, Kodak Easy Share Gallery, Shutterfly etc.. When you use the new feature the first time, you will be given specific instructions based on your computer and Internet Browser.
If you would prefer to not install this tool on your computer, we still offer the original “one-by-one” upload.
As always, we value your input. If you have any comments or suggesting regarding the new feature please let us know!

This is splendid!!! I never wanted to spend all the time to add numerous photos, so the EZ Loader has been a tremendous help! I’ve added 15 photos just today.

This feature definitely rocks! Actually, this feature is a godsend for us. We take pictures frequently and I used to spend so much time resizing, renaming, and rotating. Now I don’t dread loading pics anymore.

I love how fast the pics upload. For some reason, they upload darker using EZ upload, than with the one-by-one method.

Hello Shellye,
The process used to resize the images is slightly different for both upload types. This could be causing the EZ upload to look a bit darker. We will take a look to see if there is anything we can do to help.
