New Features for 2008

We were sitting down looking over the list of potential features to add to TotSites and thought it might be a good idea to get YOUR input! Many of the proposed features came from TotSites users so it is only fitting that everyone can help prioritize which ones toÂ add first.

Please keep in mind that this poll does not contain every possible feature we will work onÂ in 2008. The main goal is to just find out what is important to TotSites members now. If there is a feature not listed that you think would be a great addition, please post a comment.

Feel free to vote more than once. The poll will only let you vote once per session but if you visit the blog at a later time you should be able to vote again.

Ordering Photo Prints

We are looking into adding a feature that would allow you and your family to order Photo Prints directly from your TotSite. Each time you upload photos to your site you would be given the option to upload a “print quality” version that could be used to order prints, stickers, mugs, tee-shirts and more directly from your site. You would also have the option to allow friends and family to order prints.

We are trying to determine how many of you would like this type of feature so we can plan accordingly. Please take a moment to vote in the poll below. Feel free to leave comments in the blog or email us directly at support@totsites.com .

Poll: How to handle photo, movie and music limits.

Over the past several months we have received feedback from TotSites members asking for a “storage space” limit instead of a “photo count” limit. Originally we chose to use the total number of photos since it is a more up-front and clear way to manage your account.

Since we introduced music and video earlier this year, it is becoming increasingly clear that it might make sense to change the way we handle “limits” for TotSites.

Benefits of “total storage space”

You decide how to allocate your space. If you would prefer to upload 10 songs and 15 videosÂ with less photos, that is your choice.
If you ever reach the point where you ran out ofÂ storage space, you would have the option to simply add more for a nominal fee.

Benefits of “Set limits”

No change is needed. Your accounts would work exactly the way they do now.
A simpler way to manage your account. You know exactly how many photos, movies or music files you can upload.
