A note from Mom:

Hello everyone. I am doing wonderful, resting and totally loving holding my baby boy. The labor and delivery was all worth the joy that is sitting before me now. I am obviously working to learn all the details of parenting (especially breastfeeding). Any pointers especially in this area would be helpful. I will be putting more updates on the website soon.

A few weeks ago my family hosted a baby shower for Addison. We had so many great friends and family show up - thanks everyone!! We played some fun games, ate great food - how about those key lime muffins Steph made? It took a long time to open all the neat gifts everyone brought for Addison. We got the cute little things like onesies, pacifiers, snuggly blankets, sunglasses and the oh so nescessary items like a diaper genie, crib, bouncy seat and don't forget, plenty of diapers and wipes for the little guys behind!

Again, thank you everyone for coming and showing your support and love for Addison. And for those unable to attend, I understand, life is busy and we can only do so much.

I am just over 3 weeks from the due date. I am still feeling wonderful, getting a little anxious - but I guess that is a normal feeling from what I hear.

The past 34 weeks have gone by so quickly, only 5 1/2 to go and Addison will actually be here - wow that sounds weird - he will actually BE HERE!!

The pregnancy has been an wonderful experience - thank God, no morning sickness of any kind, not even a whole day where I felt sick from anything. I am one of those women who say if pregnancy is this good, I won't mind having a few more! And of course I am praying labor and delivery is just as smooth. (please agree with me in prayer).

I have an amazingly supportive husband who is excited to be a daddy for the 1st time. He is also very proud of me - probably relieved that I didn't get crazy and gain too much weight. Adam is super busy with some projects we are working on in ministry but like this morning, he is taking the time with me to go to a few doctor appointments and even the Birthing classes where in my opinion they show way too much for my eyes, not to mention all the poor dads in the room

My family and friends are also very supportive - Addison will make grandbaby #2, with the 3rd on the way (my sister Stacy will have the 1st little girl in August).

Ok. I guess this has turned into a small book - I will write something new in a while.
