Today Emily turned One and a half.

Emily Likes to play outside in the nice weather! She usually says please and thank you when she wants something. She answers "okay" when we ask her to do something. she likes barney and singing songs very much. she is starting to learn control over the spoon and fork at meal time. emily is a very fast learning smart girl and as you can see growing very tall. Off to play now...

This past Sunday (Feb 10 - 14 months old) Emily started to walk by herself, she knows what she wants and goes to get it!

Emily is eating so much these days it is adult portions... but she is still at the same weight. I cannot believe how much goes in her tummy!

Emily is saying small words now like cereal, all done, hi, bye bye, chicken, pasta, up, down, haya (for hayley), dada (moma only when she is mad, she also calls both parents dada), tundra, see ya... I think the first word was Papa! Now she will try to repeat every word. She really like to sing songs, and she knows a few herself like; row row your boat, ring around the rosie.. husha, if your happy..., patty cake...

She is very very fast at crawling and has been for a while! She will stand up comfortably holding anythinig (my leg, the couch, door handles...) sometimes she is daring and will go about 3-4 steps all be herself! Some times she will use the walker and push it as she walks down the hall or across the room.

There are 8 teeth in the front, and 4 molars just came out this week. yes - all at once! Emily has never had a problem eating (since day 4, when she started formula). She drinks about 2 cups of 2% or homo milk now, and eats everything that we do... and more! Emily really likes to eat and feed herself!

Emily is very good with everyone, as long as someone is in the same room as her! She likes to play with her Little people house and all the people she has including Dora. Her favourite TV show is 4 squares on tree house of course! She also really likes Barney and anything with music too!

She will not let me use the computer or do any work... she needs to do it ALL herself:

Now Emily has 2 bottom front teeth and 2 top front teeth. They are very small but growing! She has not ben very fussy thankgoodness

She has 2 teeth on the bottom, and today the top one started to poke through! The 2 bottom ones were no problem... the top one seems to hurt her and she is suffering through the pain... (mommy too at night - at least for the last 3 days).

She slowly gets from place to place by stretching & reaching (almost crawling) on her hands and knees! Rather than being right on her tummy she prefers to stand up! We'll see what comes next!

She found her tongue and likes to wiggle it around trying to speak.. lots of baby goo goo and ga ga's come out.. some times MAMA and sometimes DADA but not directly at us!

Hello -  We are sorry we've been slacking on our journal writing...

There are lot's of amzing things happening with Emily. She is spotting very small objects and tracking moving things, even from far away. She can also follow an object out of her view. Emily will reach for everything.

Emily is interacting with everyone, and her surroundings is growing daily. Yesterday (for the second time) she dropped objects just to watch me pick them up or to see how and where they fall. it was pretty funny.

She giggles, babbles and loves play, she likes any swing (indoors or out)

She has been sitting up by her self which she likes very much... she rolls over a little but she'd rather sit up by herself or try to stand up! Her legs are very strong.

Emily has started to eat cereal and food (like green beans, peas, bananas, prunes, peches, sweet potatoe, squash..)

Today is Emily's cousin Sierra's first birthday - WOW - she is ONE!

She had a wonderful Birthdya party it was soo much fun! Emily came from Jessie's First Brthday Party too! WOW Emily was party hopping today!

Emily had her party dress and even her shoes on all day! she even had her new sun glasses on !

We all had a great time at both parties! From dusk til dawn....

Mommy took Emily to the doctor today! She was such a good girl, she had 2 needles in her legs, and she didn't even cry! Both Emily & Mommy are finally feeling better (3 weeks of being sick).
