Please don't do that again

Tonight you scared us pretty good. We went swimming this evening and it was our first time in a big pool this summer. All of the grown-ups were eating at a table next to the pool and you were going to get back in. You were standing in the steps of the shallow end w/o any floaties on and Stephen was fussing at you that you were going to "go hiding" and that you needed your floaties. I was calling your name trying to tell you to come and get your floaties and the next thing I knew you had stepped off the step and were sinking! I jumped up and ran for the pool and jumped in and hauled you out. You coughed a good bit and were a little bit scared, but when I put your floaties back on you were game about going back in and were soon swimming like nothing had happened.
