On July 24th.  Maddie had her 6th month check up and she is 15lbs 13 oz and 27inches long.

She is so healthy and extremely happy.  She always smiles and likes to shake her head back and forth when you say "no no no".  She is getting ready to crawl, which scares me to death.  We need to start baby proofing our home.

I can't believe that she is getting so big so fast. 

I am currently a little over a centimeter dialated and if I understood my doctor correctly, I am 1/2 way efaced.  So Maddie should be on her way soon.

I have another dr. appointment today so hopefully I will be more dialated and more efaced. 

I am very ready to have this little girl and see her precious face.

We are now getting down to the nitty gritty and Jim has been putting baby furniture together and we are putting the finishing touches on her room.  At my last appointment I measured at 33 weeks instead of 31.  So its possible this little girl may come a little early.  I may get another ultrasound, so if I do I'll put up new pics.  My next appointment is Nov 29.

Jim and I will be heading to Virginia next week to catch up with some friends and have one last hoorah before baby comes!

Can't wait for a little R and R

No, I am not having twins.  But I found out that one of my friends is expecting her 2nd child.  There is so many women I know that are expecting.  Its nice that there is people going through what I am going through.

 I think that they whole having a child thing is really sinking in.  On Saturday I was watching tv and I was feeling movement and I looked at my stomach and there was this little lump coming out of my belly...This girl is really starting to move!  It was so cool to just watch my girl poke and kick me.  If I only had a way to see what she is doing in there.  And as I type this she must be doing flips or something.  Its the strangest feeling, but I absolutely love it.

Well....we find out what the baby is tomorrow and I can barely stand it!  I also have to remind myself that they will also be checking to make sure everything is in the right place and that the baby is growing properly!  So I trust God that everything is there and where it should be!   But just to know if its a boy or a girl will be so cool!  I'll post again Friday with the announcement and the ultrasound photos!

 I'll see if I can get any work done the next couple days!!! 

I had an appointment yesterday and everything is still going good.  The heartbeat was much stronger sounding this time.  I also took my mother-in-law with me and when she had Jim, Aaron and Leslie, the doctor told her what she was having according to the heart rate and the doctor was right all 3 times.  So according to her and her doctor, if the rate is high, it will be a girl and if the rate is low then it will be a boy.  She explained this to my mid-wife and asked what my baby's heartrate was like and she said that it was right in the middle...so...we still have to wait for that ultrasound.

Anyone have an experience like that, where the heart rate told the sex?

Jim has been so wonderful lately taking care of his "wifey".  He already does tons of stuff inside and outside of the house and yet he does more.  I can't thank him enough. 

Last night we went to Target and he helped me register for baby items.  It was kinda done on a whim because we didn't plan on registering that moment, Oh well.... but we had fun looking at everything.  It was such a nice evening and I'm cherishing these moments where its just the two of us still. 

3 more weeks till we find out what this little one is and I think that will really help me to even make it more real to me.  Because right now, I feel like its the unknown.  I know there is something there is something there but something is missing.  I think once I know if its a boy or a girl I think that will really help me connect to this baby, cause I don't really feel that yet.  I know that sounds horrible but I think that will really help me to know what it is.
