I finally have figured out what all the excitement over Halloween is. I got to dress up in my purple flower outfit and trick or treat my neighbors Sue & Wayne. They got a really big kick out of me all dressed up. They even gave me some chocolate, but I think Daddy ate it. It was rather cold, so I only visited them. Mommy said next year I can go to more houses and really rack up on the sweets. Cousin Jake came over the go trick or treating too, but decided he didn't want to dress up this year. He did help give out candy to all the other little kids though. A couple of them scared him, so Daddy gave them candy instead. We did not have near as many kids this year. Mommy said it had something to do with all the trunk or treats going on. It was still a fun time though. I was really good wearing my outfit and everything. The next day we went over to Grammie's house and I learned why all my friends really love Halloween. I got the whole dressing up thing, but you can do that any day. It is the candy...that is the real reason. Paw Paw let me have my first sucker. It was okay, tasted kinda like my tylenol, but the tootsie roll....it is heaven. Paw Paw was letting me suck on it and I decided it was so good, I bit me off a piece. Apparently you are not suppose to bite tootsie rolls, as I was not allowed any more after that. But it sure did taste good.

      Other than that it was a rather calm and uneventful weekend. I go for my 7 month pictures this weekend. Mommy still has problems believing I can be that old. I am growing fast what can I say. Mommy forgot the pictures again, so we will have to add them later. I hope everyone is having a great week.

          This weekend was a fun filled weekend. On Friday Mommy came and got me from school early so that we could meet up with Daddy and have dinner before the hockey game. That's right I went to my first UAH hockey game this weekend. UAH played Western Michigan for the home opener. It was a lot of fun. Once we got there I got to meet a lot of Mommy and Daddy's old college friends. I really liked watching Mr. Geoff. He talks/yells really loud so it was fun watching him. We found our seats and the game started. I saw the PIKE's throw a really big fish on the ice after the first UAH goal. It was really big, I think it was bigger then me. I was told this was a tradition. I am fine with that as long as they don't throw me on the ice :) I stayed awake the whole game. I got to eat my sweet potatoes when I got hungry. I even had a bottle, but I do no like it when they score while I am eating. This makes me fussy. They should refrain from scoring until I am finished with my bottle, thank you. It was a very fun night and I slept all the way home and went straight to bed. Saturday we got to go to another game. It was a lot of fun, very similiar to the night before, just no fish :( I did get to meet someone really cool. I think his name is Charger Blue. He is UAH's mascot. He was a great big blue horse that walks on his back legs. Mommy wanted my picture with him so Daddy, me and Charger Blue got our picture made. Daddy wouldn't let Charger Blue hold me though. Apparently Charger Blue doesn't like to take baths so Daddy said he was to dirty to hold me. Maybe next time.

    Nana and Pa came and saw me too. They came down to go to Gander Mountain and just had to come see me. It was a fun visit. I even got to sit in Pa's new truck. It is hard to sit in though, I kept sliding on the leather seats. It was really pretty. I think Pa really likes it too :) Other than the normal that was my fun adventures of the week. School is still going great, I am mastering the sitting up postion. Still not crawling, but I am getting the idea. My teethers have been bugging me again, but that nothing new. This weekend is Halloween and I can't wait to go Trick or Treating. Cousin Jake is going to come over and go with me since it is my first time. I know it will be a blast.

This has been a pretty calm week. Nothing really exiting happening. Mommy & Daddy think I might be trying to figure out how to crawl. See when I am sitting up I will lunge for a toy or remote. Sometimes my hands are down in front of me and somtimes they are not. They have to be on the lookout to catch if my hands aren't down, because I get really mad if I hit my face on the floor. I roll everyehere now. if you put me down I will be in a different location when you look back :) I am really enjoying this being mobile thing.

I no longer have to drink that nasty formula. I am back to 100% Mommy's milk. It is a wonderful thing. I have been a little difficult the past week and a half as I keep waking up in the middle of the night and want to eat. So Mommy has not been getting all the sleep she says she needs, but I sleep wonderfully after my late night snack. I guess we will have to figure out a compromise. I don't know why she really needs to sleep 8 straight hours. I sleep in intervals and it works great for me.

This weekend I got two quick visits with both sets of grandparents on Sunday. First we went to TN and saw Nana and Pa. Daddy needed Pa to help him with something for the lawnmower. It was a fun visit. They are redoing their living room so everything looked different. I can't wait to play once it is finished. Then Daddy went to play hockey and Mommy and me had to run some errands. On the way home Aunt Julie called and wanted us to come over so she could see Mommy's new hair cut. I got to play with Grammie, Paw Paw, Aunt Julie and Jake. It was fun as always. Grammie feed me my dinner and gave me a bath. Jake wanted to play to so he got in the water too. He has a lot more toys to play with during bath time then me. Mommy normally only gives me my two frogs and dolphin. Jake had like 20 toys. I couldn't decide what I wanted to play with. As soon as I picked one toy up to chew on I saw another one that I really wanted too. Our tata was cut short though as I kinda went poo in the water so we had to get out. It wasn't my fault I am not really old enough yet to say "Excuse me I need to go potty now." It was still fun and I was all clean and ready for bed afterwards.

Well it is going to be another slow week. I don't think we have anything big planned. I let you know if anything good happens.

     This past week has been a week of fun stuff. I am improving my technique in sitting up by myself. I can sit up for a really long time now and play. I really like sitting on the couch trying to get the remote from Mommy & Daddy and I don't just want any remote. I want the TV/Satellite remote. They try and trick me by giving me the fan or PlayStation remote, but I want the silver one. I even tried to hide the PlayStation remote from Mommy by putting it in between the cushions. I prefer sitting up to laying down now. You can see so much more. I also get to pet Gnash a lot. He will come sit by me and let me pet him. He is so soft, especially since Daddy gave him a bath last week. For some reason he only gets one every now and then, but I have to take them almost daily. Its okay though, I love my bath time. I have even learned to splash :) I really like the face Mommy makes when I splash her.

      This past weekend my cousins came over and spent the day with me. We met up with Jake and Lexi and their parents for a photo session and shopping. It was a lot of fun. They aren't use to having their picture made all the time like me, but our pictures turned out really well. Check my photos to see. We had group pics made and some in our Halloween costumes. Mommy bought me a flower costume when we were at the beach. I think I look a little silly, but Mommy and everyone loved how I looked. I even left the hat on my head. I get to wear it again in a couple of weeks when I go trick or treating. That will be a lot of fun. I think cousin Jake is coming over to my house to trick or treat my neighborhood.  On Sunday Nana and Pa come down to see me too. It had been awhile so I got to have lots of fun playing with them and my cousin Houston. I always love getting to play with them.

      I am finally able to nurse again! You wouldn't believe how much easier I go to sleep at night if I can nurse. Mommy is still wanting me to drink that nasty formula with my milk a couple more days at school until she can get caught up. I guess I can consider it. Last night after school I got to go by my Paw Paw's and see his pumpkins. He carved pumpkins and wanted me to see. So I got to play with him and Grammie for a little while. They wanted their copies of my pics. I also got to play in Paw Paw's new van for work. Jake always plays in the FedEx truck, but I was the first to play in the van :)

    Well, I guess that is it for my week. Daddy is home all week, so I will have fun playing with him like always. Don't forget to check out my Halloween outfit.

   Hi Everyone! This week has been one of no sleep. I have been fighting my runny nose off for two weeks now. I think I have finally one the battle. Hopefully I will get a little break before the next one hits me. I love all my friends at school, but do they really have to give me so many colds? This week I have been having a discussion about my bed time. See Mommy likes to put me down around 7:30pm. That way I get all the sleep she thinks I need. I however, think I should be able to stay up later, as I am getting older. So this week I decided not to go to bed till after 10pm sometimes 11pm. This has been very hard on Mommy and Daddy as they have been sick as well and really wanted to sleep. Last night I was better...asleep by 9:30pm up at 12:30am and back down till Mommy woke me up this morning. It wasn't my fault that I woke up in the middle of the night either, see there was really loud thunder last night and it scared me. Luckily Mommy was there to help me get back to sleep.

    Now for the drama of the week. See Mommy got sick the week we came back from the beach. First it was Laryngitis and a head cold. It really bothering her asthma and she had to go see the doctor about it. I asked her to since I really do not like to be disturbed when I am eating and her coughing during my meal was very annoying. The first doc gave her some medicine and she got a little better. She still wasn't better this week so Daddy suggested she go back to the doctor. See Mommy has been having a lot of attacks so Mommy and Daddy haven't been sleeping. Daddy has been helping more around the house since Mommy has been sick, so they are both very tired. She went to the doctor like she was asked and was given 10 prescriptions. Hopefully this will help get her well, but it is very bad news for me. Mommy can't nurse me while she takes her medicine. So I have to have all bottles. Luckily she has enough milk I can get half Mommy's milk and half formula. Mommy was really worried about how I would take to the formula as I have never had it before. I guess there is enough of the good stuff in my bottle, because I will take it. I do have issues though as I like to nurse before bed and when I wake up. A bottle just is not the same thing. I can't wait till Monday when I get 100% Mommy milk again :)

    This weekend will be fun as my cousin Lexi is coming up. We are going to go have pictures made and go to a consignment sale to get some new clothes. Hopefully next week everyone will be back to 100% and we can get back into our routine. It has really been a rough week, but I have been all smiles through it all. I am just the best baby ever!

    Well I am back from the beach and let me just say I had a blast. I was a wonderful baby on the way down and pretty much just slept. I got to play in the pool and the ocean and just have fun spending time with Mommy and Daddy. Daddy did have to work Thursday and Friday, but there is nothing better than taking a nap on the beach while lying on my Daddy's chest. I have uploaded pictures for everyone to see out wonderful family vacation.I hope you enjoy.

     Sorry I am late with this week's update. See I caught this head cold and have been out of sorts a little bit. Plus I didn't want anyone to feel left out and passed it around the family as well. 

     Well Pa and Nana came back from the mountains and I got something! They brought me a bib that says the Smokey Mountains on it and it has a black dog on it. Mommy says its a bear, but I promise it looks like a big Gnash but black. Grammie and Paw Paw brought me something too. They listened to my request and brought me back some really bright colored outfits. Mommy says they are tie dyed. One is orange and another maroon and the third onesie is every color. I really like staring at it. I must be the most loved baby in the world :)

      My teacher Mrs. Sanders figured out how to get me to take my juice...heat it up. Yep, she warmed it up and I sucked it all down. I prefer apple juice, we have learned too. Not sure why but I like it better than the white grape. I have been eating everything in sight so I get to start stage 1 baby food this weekend. Not sure if I will like it, but we will see. Mommy called Dr. Cartwright and asked since in one day I nursed, took 4 - 6 1/2oz bottles, two large bowls of cereal, a 6oz bottle of juice and nursed two more times before going to bed. As Jake would say I am hungrish.

    This weekend I get to go to a consignment sale with Grammie, my friend Marisol and her mommy Marisa. I think we are suppose to take Grammie to a Craft show this weekend too. So it will be a busy one. I also have to pack for my beach trip next week. Yep, they are taking me to the beach for the first time. So don't be looking for a new post till after I get back. I have plans to enjoy my time in the sand and water. I am not big on the sun, so I am going to try to find some shade. Well I guess that wraps up this crazy week. I posted new pics and keep an I out for beach photos. You know I am going look cute as a beach bumn :)

    Well it was another crazy weekend. Saturday I went and had another photo shoot. We had my 5 month pictures made. Can you believe I am really that old? Me either. That night Mommy had her Mommy's Night Out at Miss Ali's house, so I had Daddy Day Care. I always love my one on one time with Daddy. He is just so much fun. Apparently I wasn't quite my normal self, but it was fun. Sunday me,  Mommy, Grammie, Paw Paw and Cousin Jake went down and visited my Great Aunt Janice and her family. It was a two hour drive, but me and Jake did really well. Jake watched a movie, but I have to face backwards so Grammie kept me entertained. I had fun being held by everyone and Aunt Janice even gave me a bottle. They had some cute outfits for me too. I love getting new clothes. On the way home I got hungry so we had to stop for me to eat. It was a really full day and I was glad to get home and take a nap. Monday school called Mommy and said I was sick so she had to come get me. She took me to the doctor, but nothing was wrong with me. So I got a play day with Mommy instead. It is was fun getting Mommy to myself all day. Wednesday was a big day too. I rolled over for the first time. I enjoyed it so much I did it two more times after that. It has been a very busy week and I need my rest. I even posted some new pictures for you. I hope you enjoy them.
