Yesterday I had my doctor's appointment.  I've gained 22 pounds in my pregnancy so far which is okay. You're suppose to gain between 25 and 35 pounds if you were normal weight before you got pregnant. They checked my iron levels again because it was so low last time and it has dropped from 10.2 to 9.6. My doctor likes to see it above 14 so that's pretty low. He wrote me a prescription for iron that I have to take now. So I'm up to taking 3 different types of pills every day. Claire is still doing great, moving a lot! My dad, mom, and Megan went to the appointment with me because they were in the area for Dad's back appointment. Then Kev showed up right before I went to the room because he wanted to show my something that came in the mail. He won a scholarship from his work! Yea! We're VERY excited about that. It helps a lot. I hope all the Dad's out there had a great Father's Day, and I will see ya'll Saturday at Ashlei's baby shower!

I haven't written in a couple days so there are some updates. First off, a couple days after I had my urine culture done the doc's office called and told me that I didn't have a UTI. I was shocked because what I was experiencing felt just like one. Well, a couple days after that they called back and said that they were sorry they were looking at the wrong results and that I did have a UTI. So they called in to my pharmacy, but what they called in for me I was allergic to...Everything's okay now though.

Anyway, about a week ago I called Lamar Institute of Technology and scheduled an ultrasound. I had that done yesterday. The students do the ultrasound for practice so it's free and you don't get any pictures. She looks good though. Her head is really low in my pelvis and she's face down. That's great! We got to see her little legs and feet kicking. She was not very cooperative with the students though. Every time they would try to freeze the screen to get a measurement she would move away. She had her legs crossed also, but they still confirmed it was a little girl! I can call and schedule one anytime. I'll probably go back at like 37 or 38 weeks.

Tomorrow is my Glucose Test. I'm not looking forward to drinking that stuff. Mom said it's not that bad now a days though. I can't eat any sweets today. It's been easier than I thought to not eat any. I can't eat anything after midnight tonight, and my appointment is at 9am. It shouldn't be that bad. Hopefully the results come back normal. I only have to do the one hour test instead of the three hour one. That's awesome.

Kev made the Dean's List at Lamar for the Spring 2006 semester. He's made the Dean's List every year that he had attended Lamar though. All of my friend's are having their babies. One friend had her little girl, Macy, a couple weeks ago. Another friend had her little girl, Corrigan (I think that's her name.), about a week and a half ago, and my other friend had her baby boy, Aiden, on Friday. It just makes more even more anxious...

Well today is the first day of Hurricane season. It feels like just yesterday when Rita hit. The predictions said that this area will likely be hit around August 11 this year which isn't good since I'm due on the 19th. Hopefully we'll be lucky and not get hit this year.

I go in on the 6th to get my Glucose test done. I'm not looking forward to drinking that gross stuff, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I'm so ready to have this baby. It seems like the pregnancy has gone by fast and slow. One day I think it's gone by fast and the other I think it's gone by SO slow. I only have 2 1/2 more months left though, 11 weeks! Yea!
