One week until the ultrasound!!! I can't wait. I'm so excited. I just hope she/he cooperates with the tech.
I'm over the sinus infection, thank goodness. I've had it for 2 weeks. I feel so much better. I can actually sleep through the night now.
Nothing else has really happened. I have a few cravings now. I want cheese fries and anything (snow cone, slurpee, ect.) that tastes like pina colada. The closest place I can get those is at Parkdale Mall in Beaumont, 25 mins away.

Hey everyone! I went to the doctor yesterday for my appointment. I had to wait almost 2 hours to see him for 2 minutes, but that's okay. I guess it's worth it. He's a really good doctor. He was held up in surgery. We listened to the heart beat. Dr. Long commented on how active the baby was. He asked me if I had felt movement, and I told him all the time. He kinda laughed and said that was excellent, especially since it was so early and that this was my first pregnancy. I told him about my sinus infection, and he said since I didn't have a fever he didn't want to prescribe my any antibiotics. I'm starting to feel better anyway. I turned down a triple marker screening test, which determines if the baby has down syndrome, because of the high risk of a false positive result. Plus, if that comes out positive then I would have to do an amniocentesis which can lead to miscarrage or preterm labor. I figured since there was no history of down syndrome in my family I would not take it. I would never terminate the pregnancy anyway.
Anayway, so after I saw him I scheduled my next prenatal appoinment for April 18 at 2:15pm. I also scheduled my ultrasound appointment!! It's scheduled for April 6 at 1:30pm. I am so excited to find out the sex of the baby. We'll know in 2 weeks!!! Pray for some open legs and some pink dust!

I have been sick with a sinus infection since around Thursday. It's no bueno. I haven't been sleeping well at night at all. I go to the doctor Tuesday though. Maybe he'll give me some stronger drugs that won't hurt the baby. Other than that things are good.
I've been having some round ligament pain on both sides of my abdomin. That means the uterus is growing. That's good because then I might start looking like I'm pregnant. Well, Kev still can't feel the baby kick. Sometimes the baby kicks are so hard that I know he could feel it, but he still says he can't. Like this morning the baby kicked, and I could actually see my stomach move from the kick. I told Kev to put his hand there, and he still couldn't feel it. It depresses us both. Anyway, it was good to see everyone in Spurger Wednesday, and I hope to see ya'll more often.

This baby is so active. She is always kicking or doing flips. It is really neat to feel her/him move all the time. Kevin is a little sad though because he can't feel it yet. It breaks my heart. He'll be able to feel it soon though since the baby's bones are hardening. It is such a blessing to have her/him on the way. I do have to make a confession though... I don't like being pregnant. I love the feeling of knowing that I am creating a life, but I hate all the symptoms that come with pregnany. I've had all of them. Maybe the next time will be easier for me. I still have morning sickness. It's actually morning sickness though, instead of all day sickness. Once I wake up I have to get up and eat, or I feel SO sick.
On another note, I've been working at The UPS Store this week trying to help Kevin out. One of the guys quit, so Kev hired another guy and is training him. So I'm picking up the slack a bit. I have to work for him tomorrow so that he can fly somewhere in Texas with his dad and work on computers at a nursing home. I'm so excited about my husband being gone all day....not! Oh well though. I can't think of anything else to write so I'll talk to ya'll later. I love and miss everyone the Spurger way!

Today was a good day. This morning Kev woke up and went to the bank to see if we could get a pre-approved car loan. We got approved so we are going car shopping Saturday. Yay! Later I dropped him off at work and went shopping at Parkdale Mall. I bought those baby shoes at Sears. They were too cute to pass up. Plus they are neutral sex ,so I won't have to bring them back after we find out the baby's sex. Now I'm just going to relax the rest of the day and watch American Idol and House.
