Claire can do many things now. In just the past week she started doing more. She waves and says bye-bye consistently, she says ducky, she says oh baby when she rocks her baby, and she says Jesus. She hasn't started walking yet though. She just cruise all over the place, against the coaches, entertainment center, cabinets. She does push her walker everywhere though. When she's at her great grandma and grandpa's house she pushes her cousin Kenna's pusher thing all over the house. It will be good and bad when she starts walking. She eats Gerber Graduates for Toddler meals now. The ones that are like a TV dinner. She loves them. She loves Cheerios, Chicken Nuggets, and every kind of big people veggie. She won't eat baby food anymore. We just feed her whatever we eat. She's happy with that.
Kev's last day of Summer 1 is today, and he takes his final Monday. Then the next Monday Summer 2 starts. So he only get a week off between semesters. Then not too long after that the Fall semester starts. Needless to say, he'll be busy until Christmas break. The good news is that he'll graduate in May. We can't wait!
We went to the Astro's game on the 3rd. We had awesome tickets that Kev's boss gave us. We took Kev's grandpa and uncle with us. We sat on the 3rd base side in section 107 on the 7th row up. There were fireworks after the game for 4th of July. There are pics in the Kev and Sarah gallery of the game. We had a blast. We won also in the13th inning. It was a long game!
Everything else is great. We are in good health right now, and we have what we need. Not much more than that... :) That's okay though. We're happy.

Claire loves to read. If there are a bunch of toys on the floor and one book she will go straight to the book. She will lay down and "read" the book. She turns the pages and everything. She's so smart! She still has no teeth, but I've been reassured that if it takes a long time to cut teeth then they are healthy. I watched Kenna the other night. Claire loved having her there. They played on the floor with all the toys. Then I put them in walkers in the kitchen, and they played bumper walkers. :) It was so funny. When Kenna left Claire crawled to the door and started crying! She was so sad her best friend left her. It was pitiful.

I bought a new diaper bag. It's hand made and it has Claire's name monogrammed on it. When it's done and I get it I will post a pic. It is so cute!

Not to be biased but Claire is so smart. When I hand her a book or DVD upside down she turns it right side up before she looks at it. She also starting to try to talk more. It's not just baby talk like goo goo, etc. It's more gibberish now. Claire was in the bath yesterday and I handed her her rubber ducky. I said, "Here's your ducky.", and she said ducky. I thought it might just be a fluke, but the rest of the day I would say ducky a couple times and she would repeat it. We'll see if she'll keep saying it...

Sunday Claire and I both got a stomach virus. I feel better, but Claire is still not completely better. Kev also got sick a couple days after us.
We spent today DEEP cleaning. We washed walls, fans, door knobs, and everything else you can think of with lysol wipes. Hopefully that will keep us healthy for awhile.

Claire has done a few new things in the past couple days. She said MaMa yesterday, and then today she put a little baby sentence together. She said MaMa, bobo, and she actually wanted a bottle! She's so smart. It's shocking. She's also found her voice, her LOUD voice! She is SO loud.
In church it will be quiet and all the sudden Claire squeals really loud! It's not reverent, but funny. In the doctor's office yesterday Claire was talking really loud and a little boy that was in their who was also 9 month old plugged his ears! It was so funny!!
