Claire feeling better yesterday didn't last long. Later that evening her fever was back up to 104. Kev called a friend from church, who's an RN, and he said to bring her over to his place so that he could check her out. He looked in her ears and throat and found and ear infection and a red throat. He prescribed an antibiotic and told us to give that and continue the Motrin until the fever goes down. She was still sick this morning but when she woke up from her nap she felt cool again. Daddy also got her to laugh. She still won't eat and will only drink pedialyte. At least she's drinking though.b

Well, Claire has been sick again. Wednesday she was running a small fever of about 101.5, nothing to worry about. Then yesterday it was at 102. I just gave her Motrin and watched her closely. At about 5:30 last night she all the sudden felt really hot. I took her temp, and she had 104.2 temp. I called the hospital where Claire's doctor was on call and about 2 hour later she finally called me back. She said to just rotate Motrin and Tylenol and if she wasn't better by this morning bring her in to the doctor's office who is on call for her since her office is closed today. So I got up every 3 hours last night to rotate the medicine. At 6:30 this morning Claire woke up for the day and seems to be doing better. She's actually laughing and playing. Yesterday all she would do is lay in your arms or on the floor. Which is not like Claire. She won't even let me rock her when she's tired. So you could tell how bad she felt. How pitiful is this picture? :(
