We chose the name Kaitlynn before we were married, but we were not set on the spelling. We chose to spell it with 2 n's because Amy's middle name is Lynn. We decided to spell it with a K because Dave's family has a lot of names that start with K. We chose the middle name of Jean after Amy's mom (Gloria Jean).

We found out that we were going to have a baby on June 19, 2006 (the day after father's day). After two pregnancy tests we believed it! The ultrasound pictures on the website are from our first doctor's visit on July 5, 2006. These pictures confirmed it even more for us. And for those of you who know that twins run in our families, the ultrasound pictures confirm that there is only ONE baby in there (note "Single" typed in the upper right hand corner of each picture)!!
