| I got to hold you for 2 1/2 hours today!!! You slept the whole time and made cute little noises every now and then. I am enjoying every minute of getting to know you. I love you Riley! |

| IT'S ALMOST TIME!!!!! I had another dream about you! This time it was about you being born. I'm SO excited, but I'm scared that your Mom is going to go into labor while I'm stuck at work! So do your best to work around my work schedule please!!! I SOOO want to be there the minute you arrive into this world. I held a baby girl at work today and it made me think about what it's going to be like to hold you for the first time...I'm going to turn to mush I know it. It's so crazy to think about you being OUTSIDE your mommy's tummy... I can't imagine how SHE'S feeling right now. I keep thinking about all the things I want to do with you. Hopefully I'LL get to be the one to introduce you to Harry Potter....and Hopefully it will still be as awesome 7 years or so from now. I love you little girl, and I'll see you very soon!!!!!!!!! |

Dearest Riley,
I could not let the opportunity go by to tell you how excited we are that you will be part of our lives.
Let me tell you how very special you are. You are the only person in the whole world who has the power to turn a man and a woman who love each other into a mother and father. The next thing only you can do is turn their parents into Grandparents for the first time. And lastly, making Grandpa and me Great Grandparents. You will always be the first.
We just know you will be the most beautiful baby of all time. AND, if anyone tries to pick on you, you just send them to Great Grandpa and me and we will take care of them.
I saw the notes about your big feet—don’t you believe that. You have beautiful feet like those of a ballerina.
Hurry up and get here so we can go shopping and do lunch.
