Doctor's Appointment posted on 01/21/2009
I just returned from my doctor's appointment and Miss Rylee is doing great. Her heart rate was right at 140 bpms. She was resting....for once. ;) This sweet girl is so active in my belly I feel sometimes as if my stomach muscles are sore from her pounding on them all day. I love it....it gives me security in knowing that she is doing good. It is her way of saying "hi"! I have once more appointment that is scheduled in two weeks before I start going every week. CRAZY!! I can't believe we are almost to the point were I go every week.
On a side note....one thing that I am extremely excited about is that I am behind on my weight gain when compared to what I gained for Presley. I gained ALOT with Presley so I am very happy to currently be 11 pounds behind. Hopefully that means I can lose the rest of the weight faster. Maybe?
My next appointment is February 4th! Stay tuned.

Daddy has another girl!...soon posted on 01/19/2009
Well, time is counting down to the birth of Rylee! I am anxious to meet her and can't wait to see how her and Presley interact. We might have our hands full because she has been moving like crazy in Stacey. Stacey has been a trooper the past month with the aches and pains of pregnancy starting to set in. I try to do the best I can to ease her pains but I know it comes right back when I stop rubbing them. Rylee's room is almost done and as Stacey said we will post pictures soon. Presley has been great with her transition into her new bed and I know she will be a great big sister. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and support. Until later...

33 weeks 2 days!! posted on 01/18/2009
I am 32 weeks and 2 days today!! I can't believe how fast my pregnancy has gone by. My belly is definitley starting to get big. I am having a hard time keeping the bottom of my shirts over my belly....a little embarrasing. Aches and pains are starting to set in more. My back is the main problem. Towards the end of the day I notice that my lower back is aching. I think alot of it comes from chasing Presley around and being on my feet taking care of the house and cooking. I do my best to kick my feet up once P's in bed. Wes has been great about rubbing my aches and pains.
I have also been dealing with alot of indigestion. I hate indigestion with a passion. But I am now in love with Sugar Free Tums!! The are an instant healer to my constant burning chest and throat. Yay for Tums!
Rylee seems to be doing great. She is as active as ever. I am still constantly feeling her throughout the day...especially when I am still. We are finally really putting some hard labor into her room. Wes has been a HUGE helping me move everything and also clear out his office stuff. It has been a long process but there is an end in sight and I can't wait to post pictures. I am also working on a project for both girls rooms. I am hoping to have them finished this week. I will take pictures and post them on the site.
We look forward to meeting you soon sweetheart!! Only a month and a half left. I can't wait to hold you. :)

A Very Thankful Christmas posted on 01/03/2009
I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who made this Christmas season special. Especially to my husband who played the roll of Mr. Mom the entire week I was down and out recovering from the kidney stone and stint. I love you buddy. Christmas turned out to be absolutely wonderful. I was almost fully recovered by Christmas Day. What a blessing. Thanks to all who showed your love and support to our family while I was recovering. Wes and I our blessed to have an amazing family and wonderful friends.
It is hard to believe that next Christmas we will be a family of 4. It brings a smile to my face thinking about our growing family and this sweet little girl that is growing inside of me. I can't wait to meet her. Only a few more months to go.

Rockin & Rollin posted on 01/03/2009
Rylee is definitely very active. Not an hour goes by where she doesn't move and say hello. She is FAR more active than Presley ever was. There are times at night where I contemplate getting up and walking around in hopes of putting her to sleep. HAHA. I love it though. I think I will truly miss feeling her hourly once she is born. I am interested to see how active she is once she arrives. Maybe her constant moving will settle down a bit. Could Rylee be more active than Presley? We shall see in a matter of weeks. I am currently 31 weeks 1 day and feeling great. Aches and pains are slowly starting to set in....but that is ok as long as both Rylee and I remain healthy from here on out.
My next appointment is Wednesday Jan 7th!!

Kidney Stone :( posted on 12/19/2008
Well....lets just say the past couple of days have definitley been eventful. I woke up Thursday morning December 18th one day shy of 29 weeks with a back ache. It started around 4am and wouldn't let up. As the morning wore on it progressively got worse and I was having trouble standing and walking. Luckily I had an appointment scheduled at 8:45 for a check-up. The pain was getting more and more unbearable. Wes drove me to the doctors along with Miss Presley. They were able to do a quick work up on me since I was in alot of pain. After the doctor visited she suggested that I be admitted to the hospital for an ultrasound and some pain medication. Since our doctor's office is attached to the hospital I was able to be admitted quickly. By this time the pain was awful. I was climbing the walls begging for someone to help me. Wes called around and found a sweet friend of ours to watch Presley. We were also able to get ahold of my mom who dropped everything to be with me. Needless to say the pain medication never worked. I was in gut wrenching pain from about 9:00am to 2:30 when they decided to go ahead and do surgery to remove the kidney stone and unblock my kidney. I woke up in recovery feeling like a new person. No pain. I was able to be discharged around 5:00pm.
Everything is ok with Miss Rylee. They monitored her the entire time. She was such a tropper. Presley was awesome too for the little bit she was there. At one point I was getting sick and Presley came over and started rubbing my hand. What an angel.
I am at home resting now with a stint in my left kidney that will be removed on Tuesday. Lovely!! When they were removing the stone the doctor noticed that my kidney was blocked from the swelling and went ahead and put a stint in place to help it remain open. Lets just say that it is definitely uncomfortable...but no where near what I was feeling earlier.
I don't think I could have gotten through the day without my wonderful husband and my sweet mom who both suffered through my agony all day. They were both tremendous blessings.
All I can say is "Yes" a kidney stone is worse than child birth.

27 weeks and 3D ultrasound posted on 12/05/2008
I am 27 weeks today!! YAY! I am so excited to be starting my 3rd trimester. We will be meeting Miss Rylee in a matter of 3 months. I can't believe it. I am feeling great. I have a few minor aches and pains but nothing to nagging to complain about. In my opinion Rylee is definitely sitting lower than Presley did. Maybe that means I will go into labor on my own and not be to far past my due date. :) :) We shall see!!
Yesterday Wes and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary. There was no better way to start off the day than to kiss Miss Presley in the morning and head to our doctor's office to see Miss Rylee in 3D. She was beautiful. Her 3D ultrasound was done at 26wk 6days where Presley's was done at 29wks 5days....but there is a resembelance. I think there nose and mouths will be extremely similar...however, the shape of Rylee's eyes on the ultrasound our different than Presley shape. Maybe Rylee will have my eyes! That would be exciting because everyone thinks Presley looks like her daddy....and I would have to agree. Actually the really exciting news was that the ultrasound technician saw hair on Rylee's head!! She said that Rylee could be born with alot of hair. I am super excited about this. We can't figure out who in our family was born with a head full of hair.
The appointment went great and I am now entering in the every two-week period. I start visiting the doctor's every 2 weeks. It is crazy that I am already going every 2 weeks. My next appointment is December 18th!!
Rylee will be here before we know it and I can't wait.

Proud Daddy! posted on 11/08/2008
So, two girls huh...I can't wait! I am nervous about having two daddy's girls but I am looking forward to the challenge. You might not see much of me though as I will be working three jobs to provide for my girls at home and two weddings in the future I will need to start saving. No seriously, I am very excited about our new addition Rylee Lynne Moyer and can't wait to meet her. Stacey is doing great as you can see from her updates and Presley is already taking care of her little sister with lots of kisses on mommy's belly! I'm on my way to having a family foursome with golf and will now have a valid reason to play from the ladies tees! Until later.
