We had a pre-natal doctor's visit yesterday (Monday, August 25th). Everything checked out great. I was 12 weeks 3 days at the visit and the baby's heart rate was 153bpm....however, we could barely hear the heartbeat because our darling daughter Presley was crying because I was up on the table. I think it scared her. She tried so hard to be patient but I think the 45 minute wait to be called back to the exam room wore out her patience.

We had a wonderful doctor who allowed us to wait 5 weeks until our next appointment so that we can have our ultrasound sooner rather than later!! YAY!!! Our ultrasound is scheduled for October 2nd at 9:00am. I can't wait. I am still leaning toward a little girl. We will soon find out!!

As far as a baby bump...no so much yet. My clothes are alot tighter and I am thinking I will have to starting wearing bigger clothes or maternity clothes with the next couple weeks. I am ready to start showing. I love having a baby bump.

I have been feeling pretty good since about 10 weeks. I am still battling be very tired. I think the extra activity during the day with Presley wears me out. So I take a good nap when she naps. Hopefully soon I won't have to and I can get started on all the house projects I need to get done.

I still can't believe baby #2 is well on its way. I am just so thankful that so far this has been a healthy pregnancy. I swear there are times when I think the baby moves...but I think it is still to early to really feel him/her. Will see if the bubbles I am feeling continues. :)

A day shy of 12 weeks! YAY!! I am so excited that the 1st trimester is almost over. Today was the 1st day in a long time that I didn't nap. I didn't know what to do with myself. lol.

For the most part I have been feeling really good. A few uneasy moments but nothing like the nausea I was experiencing before. I am still very restless at night which is tough. It's weird...I can be tired all day and then when the night comes I toss and turn. Hopefully it will pass soon.

I am starting to show which is really exciting. Nothing to noticeable but a small bump is there. I am looking forward to the 2nd trimester....it is my favorite. We have a doctors appointment on Monday (August 25th) and I will update everyone then with all the details.

Baby #2 is well on his/her way. :) :)

We had our doctor's appointment this morning at 9:00am. I had been looking forward to this appointment all week. Little did I know that I would still be dealing with my sickness from Sunday. Since I had been sick I had lost a little weight...but the nurses and the doctors were not too concerned as long as I keep fluids in me.....and I am trying. :)

Wes and I anxiously waited for our doctor so that we could finally hear this little one's heartbeat. She mentioned that we may not be able to hear the heartbeat very well because I was just over 9 weeks. We did hear it thought. As sick as I was it was an amazing and soothing sound to hear. The baby's heartbeat was jumping from 150 to 180 to 174. We will get a better read in a few weeks. This little baby's heartbeat was so much softer than the first time we heard Presley's.

We are so excited. Our next appointment is August 25th. We will get to hear the heartbeat again and have a tummy check. Then the following appointment with be the ultrasound!!! YAY! However, I am almost 80% sure this is a girl. That is just my feeling and has been since the day I found out I was pregnant. I was wrong with Presley though......so we shall see!

In my last post I mentioned not feeling to much morning sickness in week 8. Well I spoke too soon. My days went downhill shortley after that post. I was sick Friday morning until about 11:00 and then Sunday was awful.

We were packing up to leave the beach and around 9:30am my morning sickness started. It lasted ALL day and into Monday. I was so car sick on the way home from the beach. Poor Wes and to deal with me getting sick constantly in the car and poor Presley reacting to me being sick. She didn't know what was going on and it scared her. We finally got home Sunday afternoon and I crashed on the couch for the rest of the day except for a few trips to the bathroom. Wes was excellent; he took care of both me and Presley all day Sunday and today. He even made a bed on the living room floor when he realized I wasn't leaving the couch for the night. What an amazing husband and best friend he is.

I am beginning to feel better tonight (Monday). Hopefully I will even better tomorrow. :)

I am 9 weeks today!! YAY! Only 3 more weeks left of my first trimester. This go around has been different in some ways and very familar in other ways. Morning sickness has been more of a struggle with this little one and I am tired all the time. My 8th week was the best week so far in battling the on going nausea. That is about the only difference with this pregnancy so far. I am sneezing again which is weird and Wes reminds me of that everytime I sneeze. It's kinda funny. Meat doesn't always sound that great and I am a little moody.

We are going to the doctor's on Monday to hear the baby's heartbeat. I am so excited. I love hearing that sound. We have recorded Presley's heartbeat and plan on also recording this little one's as well.

We are currently wrapping up our week at the beach. What a relaxing vacation it has been for both Wes and I. Presley has loved the beach. She goes from the beach to her pool on the porch. Every year it has been a tradition of ours to go for a week with my family. I LOVE IT!

I will update everyone on Monday after our doctor's appointment. What a blessing it has been to be pregnant again. Knowing how much I love Presley excites me with this new little one. My heart has already begun the journey of falling in love with this baby. I can't wait to meet him/her.

This little one has wasted no time in kicking off my morning sickness. I have been feeling sick since 5 1/2 weeks. I am 6 weeks 1 day today. The morning sickness comes and goes all day and I am extremely tired. There are times when I can't even keep my eyes open. This is very different than with Presley. My morning sickness with her started a little later and was only in the morning and I wasn't near as tired. I guess every baby is different. :)

I had my first prenatal appointment Thursday and they confirmed the baby's due date for March 6th, 2009. Yes, this is my birthday. I can't believe it. The odds of the baby arriving on its due date is rare but we shall see. So another March baby. Tons of birthday parties!

My next appointment is August 4th. We will be able to hear the heart beat!! Yay!

I can't believe I am pregnant!! God is good!

For July 4th Wes and I went to the lake with some of our friends for a long holiday weekend. This was our first time leaving Miss Presley at home. She did great with Nana & Papa.

The entire weekend I felt "off." I thought that it was because we had left Presley for the 1st time and I was missing her. Well as Sunday rolled around I began to realize that I was a little more testy regarding the time we ate. My stomach would turn in knots if we waited too long. On the way home I knew something was up. The motion of the car was making a little unsettled.

Since Wes & I weren't "actively" trying for a little one I didn't really suspect I was pregnant until the ride home. That evening I took a test. It didn't even take 10 seconds before it read positive. I couldn't believe it! I ran down stairs to tell Wes the exciting news. God definitley has a plan for this little one.

We have been sharing the news this weekend with family. We went and purchased Presley a "Big Sister" t-shirt and she has been strutting her stuff showing off the exciting news. :)

We are on the baby journey again and we're thrilled to be adding to our family. I look forward to keeping everyone up to date!
