One week later

Each day at 9:30 am I automatically look at the clock and remember what happened last Friday at that time. [see previous journal entry] It just seems like a dream that we came so close to not having William. I have not had much sleep as he pretty much has to be held all the time. I did borrow a recliner from my brother to put in our bedroom so atleast I can lay back a bit at night while holding him. The glider rocker wasn't cutting it.
He is really holding his head up good by himself now and him and big brother Nathan are doing alot of cuddling.
He is still a pig...eating every 1-3 hours. Nathan asked me today if he went to the hospital if I would go with him. When he saw Will hooked up to the oxygen and all the monitors, he was worried about him till I told him it was just like when he has his treatment for his asthma. Then he seemed better, but it is still in the back of his mind.
Steve and I are taking an infant and children cpr class at the firestation, but I don't think that will relieve my fears much. The problem was that the cpr didn't work right away with Will, but it never hurts to have that training again. For anybody reading this...please take a cpr class. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!! You never think you will need it, but it may save a life. 4 minutes without air goes so fast and if you don't react immediately, you may be very, very sorry.
