All in all a GREAT Christmas... and we still have one more to go!! Craig's parents and Leah will be here tomorrow evening, we can't wait to see them!

Ganssle Family Picture Day!!

It's that time of year again! I can't believe Thanksgiving is over and we're on our way to christmas! We celebrated our first Thanksgiving at home this year, that's right that means I cooked a turkey! Ok so I didn't brave a whole turkey, I made a Turkey Roulade (sounds fancy huh) that just means I only had to cook a turkey breast, whew! But it was tasty and I didn't burn it so all in all a success!  Leah was here with us for Thanksgiving, we were so excited that she had permission to miss a little school and was able to spend most of the week with us, YEAH! We took advantage of having all of us together and finally got some new family pictures done. ( I posted the rest in an album in the photo section). Craig and I also ventured out for Black Friday again this year, we started at midnight Thanksgiving night and didn't finish until about 7am. It was MUCH busier than last year, longer lines, crazier people, but still worth it! The good news is we found some great deals and got almost all of our Christmas shopping done in one night. Now we just get to sit back and wait for Christmas!

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble!

Brenna was a Turkey in her Thansksgiving Play at School. Sadly Craig and I both had something going on this morning and weren't able to make the play, but I did make it for the Thanksgiving Feast afterwards! As soon as I got there she said "Mommy, I say gobble gobble gobble!". I'm so bummed that we missed her performance and don't have any pictures, but her teacher said they did a great job! Since we didn't catch the play I took some pictures of her here at home still in her costume, SO cute.

This is the pumpkin that she picked out for Leah at the pumpkin patch. So she calls it "Leah", she asked if she could take a picture with Leah so here she is!

Photo Shoot!

A friend of mine has started her own photography business, Princess "P" Photography, and we were lucky enough to be some of her first customers! She did a wonderful job and the lake in our neighborhood made the perfect setting. These are just a few of the pictures she took and I know she's not done with them all yet but I was so excited about them I couldn't wait to get them on Brenna's website!

Brenna was SO excited to go to the lake for our pictures. I'm not sure she totally understood the picture part though.:) There is another really small "lake" in the neighborhood where Amber and I take the girls to feed the ducks. She LOVES going to feed the Ducks, luckily she has started to figure out that if she doesn't chase them in circles like a maniac they don't run away.

She is growing up so fast, I look at her sometimes and she just looks so grown up! Her teacher sent me a note the other day saying how well Brenna is doing in her class, I'm so glad to know she's adjusting to it so quickly. The other day we went for a walk with Craig and "Nammy" and Brenna was counting the houses we passed, she counted 15! I was completely amazed! She's been counting to 10 for a little while, but 15 is new! We are still pursuing the potty training adventure, yes it is an adventure! She is getting much better about remembering to ask to go potty and she's even started wearing some big girl undies! It's amazing how fast they grow, it makes me grateful for every day!
