Easter!

We had an awesome Easter. We took John Robert to have pictures made on Wednesday. He did awesome, and we got some great shots! He is so precious!
On Saturday, we dyed Easter eggs. John Robert just couldn't wait to get started...he cried, "Help! Help!" the entire time I was getting everything ready. He did a great job throwing (literally) the eggs into the dye. He also enjoyed putting stickers on his eggs. We also gave him his Easter basket on Saturday night before bed. He got candy, markers, sidewalk chalk, and three foam balls. He had a blast pulling it all out and playing with the balls.
On Sunday, we had a great morning in the Lord's house. We had an awesome worship service that was centered around the Lord's Supper. Our pastor is so creative...he is constantly presenting the Lord's Word in a new way that just grasps your attention. It was a fabulous time of worship!
After church, we went to Wayne and Rebekah's house for lunch. We had an Easter egg hunt in their back yard, but John Robert was not at all interested in finding eggs. He was much more interested in playing with all of the balls in their back yard.
We are thankful for the Lord's sacrifice and the opportunity to celebrate the Resurrection with our church family and our closest friends!
