It has been a while since I have given any kind of update on John Robert.  He continues to bring us constant joy as he is such a sweet little guy.  Below is a list of some of his new accomplishments, likes, and dislikes:

• He loves to talk on the phone to his family in Alabama.  He will scream, "Call Aunt Cherry" or "Call Grangaggy"
• He refers to Michelle's dad as Grangaggy (His precious pronunciation of Granddaddy), and he refers to Jeff's dad as That Grangaggy.  Even though they have the same name, he has made his own distinction for them.
• He knows all of his colors.
• He loves to read.  He will go into his room, sit on the floor by his bookshelf, and say, "Mommy read book!"
• He refers to himself as Robbie.  We have no idea why.  Neither of us call him that.
• He said his first prayer last week.  Jeff was praying aloud, and all of the sudden, John Robert said, "Thank you God, Thomas, Tim, Hot Dog."  Translation:  Thank you God for Thomas the Tank Engine, our friend Tim Bauersachs, and hot dogs.
• He still doesn't like to eat.
• He can count to 12.  But, if you say, "Count to 10 for Granny," he will say, "1, 2, 3, 4 Granny."
• He absolutely adores doing puzzles!
• He can occasionally be caught singing Deep and Wide.
• He dislikes going to bed at night.  He doesn't cry, but he will try as hard as he can to convince you to rock him.  And, I have to admit, sometimes he wins!  After all, he won't be able to be rocked forever.
