Happy Birthday John Robert!!!
Today is John Robert's second birthday! When he got up this morning, we had the living room decorated with his Thomas ride on toy, balloons, his presents, and a Thomas Happy Birthday banner. He was so excited. He said, "My Thomas!" in this really cute, high pitched voice of excitement!
Later we opened his presents and had a cupcake with a 2 on it. He kept wanting us to sing Happy Birthday over and over again. He also kept asking for the "hot", his reference to the candle. He did a great job blowing out his candle with Daddy's assistance.
When I left for work at 10am, he and Jeff were putting his new tool bench together. He was being such a big helper. He had a great time playing with his new tool bench, complete with a hammer, a screwdriver, a wrench, screws, and nails.
We planned on going to the zoo when I got off of work, but rained spoiled our plans. However, John Robert loved plan B...Chuck E. Cheese! He had a great time playing all of the games with Daddy. He was amazed at all of the fun there!
We had a second round of cupcakes before bed with his friends, Grace and Nathan. He had such a great birthday. We are so blessed by the Lord to have him in our lives. He brings us such joy and excitement each day. Thank you Lord for two precious years with our little boy!!!
