I can't believe it was really 70 days at the hospital...what a long, long journey you've been on. It must feel SO good to be able to have him home at last (screaming and all!). He has overcome so much...I am sure his feeding will be next (getting enough into his system on his own so you don't have to use the tube).

My heart is overjoyed! Been thinking about you guys so much - especially yesterday during worship. I was reading Psalm 57 and several sections seemed to speak about your journey.
1 Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed.
2 I cry out to God Most High, to God, who fulfills his purpose for me.
3 He sends from heaven and saves me . . . God sends his love and his faithfulness.
7 My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music.
9 I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.
10 For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Love you all and can't wait for the day we get to meet Bennett in person! |

Bennett looks so adorable in his coming home pictures! We are so happy that this day has finally arrived. It's been a long journey, but you all have been so amazing in keeping up your faith. And Bennett is such an inspiration!

You are right it was a beautiful fall day to bring your sweet little Bennett home. He looked so precious, and yes his little chubby cheeks are adorable. The look and smiles of contement on your face was heartfelt. I know your journey is still going, but remember you still have made so many friends thru your journals, that Bennet and you guys have formed a place, I know in my heart. Your friend from Tennesse will continue with thoughts and prayers.
