Dearest Bennett,
It is WONDERFUL to see you growing, stretching, turning and holding your head up, and eagerly looking at everyone and everything around you. You smiled in your sleep 3 times yesterday. I wonder what you were dreaming about. What big, beautiful eyes you have. We long for your discharge day; what joy awaits as you ride home in the Toyota and look out the window for the first time. The trees are so big in DC. You are incredibly more precious than words can describe. I thank God for keeping you safe. |

Hey Little Ben - You just continue to be the champ you've shown us so many times and we're so proud of you. And those pictures, definitely showing off your "Mr. Handsome II"-ness. Great to see you with the fam - and you were just trying to see how close you could match Mer's yellow top, weren't you?!

| Great news to hear he made it to Critical Care 2 instead of 1. Everyday is better than the day before. We must all be thankful for the small steps even thru we would like bigger steps. Sorry we didn't get to see you this trip; but family is more important. We have really enjoyed the twins and they are so cute walking now. Will continue to pray for Bennett's healing and you and Travis strength, and endurance and God's grace. Maybe before long he will go home. Take love and you are in our prayers and thoughts. |

travis, kelly, & little bennett, the pictures are adorable. the one with aunt marie is a true baby deal. travis, the pictures of your mom and dad were so uplifting and I am so glad they got to visit and hold him. I will continue praying for you all and may god bless each of you and keep you safe.

Travis, Kelly, and sweet Bennett...
We continue to pray for Bennett's complete healing from the tip of his ten cute toes to the top of his sweet head! God is good!
Dear Heavenly Father, we glorify You for the progress Bennett has made. Thank you, Father, for each small step, all of which add up to miraculous milestones. All our praise and all the glory is directed to You, Father. We love You and continue to lift Bennett up to You and ask that You would finish this wonderful work in the areas of his breathing, diaphragm, eating, and areas of concern in his brain. You are an awesome God and we know ALL healing comes from YOU!
Continue to give the doctors and nurses wisdom as they minister to their little patients each and every moment of the day.
Father, I lift Logan up to You and I pray that you will meet his and his family's needs at this very critical time in his life.
Thank you for filling the Speck family with joy and peace! In the precious name of Jesus I pray. Amen |

I've been out of town, and it was a blessing to read the updates from the weekend. We stopped at ACU for chapel on our trip on Friday. It was special for me to hear them lift up Bennett in prayer.

How great that Bennett has been downgraded! Praise God. What a journey of healing that has glorified God. We continue to pray for your whole family and we just LOVE seeing the pictures of you all.
