We know his first cry is going to bring you so much joy and we are praying that the transition to CPAP goes as smoothly as possible. We hope sweet Bennett is less agitated with the CPAP than Landry was with his and we hope he enjoys hearing his voice  Crying is good excercise for their little lungs even though it is tough on our hearts. We are praying that his lungs remain strong and infection free and that the Lord will continue to heal sweet Bennett completely. We are sending all three of y'all lots of prayers today, as always, and asking the Lord to continue to bless y'all and surround you with all the prayers and love being sent up to heaven. We love y'all! |

| Hey Little Ben - Sleep well little one and I will be praying that after a restful day and night, they take that tube out tomorrow and you tolerate the knew thing like everything else...a total champ. We're thinking about you and praying for you all the time. It's become our family's night time ritual -to get the "Little Ben Report". We love you, Kristi |

| The lord works in mysterious ways. I was looking for my son's facebook sight(his name is Mitchell Bennett!!) and I found the link to your son Bennett! I am a complete stranger from Vancouver Canada but after reading Bennett's story, I was moved to write you. I have been through a similar situation with my youngest son Andrew.He was born with a severely deformed intestine. After four months in the hospital and MANY ups and downs(including several very scary attempts to remove his breathing tube), he came home!!!!I am praying for your son and also for you so that you may continue to have the strength to get through this very difficult time. ps-Andrew is a completely healthy eight year old boy who just scored 2 goals in his soccer game tonight. He has some very "cool" scars to show his friends which he does with pride!!! |
