Kelly, Travis and Bennett,
Greetings from Plano, Texas. I just read the report from last night and am thankful that Bennett is doing well. I have a feeling that he'll be moving to the "Hilton" soon as he continues to improve. God is always with him and is seeing that Bennett gets well so you can take your precious little boy home to be nurtured and loved. Everybody here sends their love and your're always in our prayers and thoughts. See you soon. |

| Good Morning Sweet Bennett - Hope you had a restful night. You were on our minds this morning at 5:30. When Cole and I saw the pics your mommy and daddy posted, they made us soooo happy! We praise God for you, and continue to ask him to heal your lungs and make you strong. "This is the day that the Lord has made - we will rejoice and be glad in it! " |

Travis, Kelly, and Bennett...
Rejoicing over Bennett's good day! Thank You, Heavenly Father.
I've been looking up encouraging sites and ran across this one and thought I'd share:
http://www.godswork.org/encouragement153.htm
It is about the 'Cost of Kids'. Very touching! Each day of Bennett's life you will be reaping the rewards of God's precious gift...and it may sound a bit like this one (without the girly stuff).
Dear Heavenly Father, You are an awesome God. You give such wonderful gifts to Your children...our own children, stars, flowers, laughter, sand, bugs, smiling faces, butterfly kisses, family, friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, brains, heart, lungs, transportation system for our life's blood, and oxygen...to name a few. We take so many things for granted, when in reality they are gifts straight from Your heart. Thank You!
Father, bless this sweet family with the most restful and healing nights they have ever experienced. One of restoration and strength. May they awaken tomorrow full of 'joy' to greet the day.
Thank You, Father, for being with the doctors and nurses tonight as they assist their little patients.
We rejoice in You, Father, for the good report on Peter and that he is now in the Hilton.
Thank you, Father, for being with the new little ECMO fellow. Strengthen him Father, and please get him off the ECMO machine quickly and on the road to full recovery. Bless his parents, Father.
Thank You, for the miracles in Bennett's body. Thank You, for strengthening his lungs, clearing the infection, good blood gases, and Father, we await the day he is off ALL machines.
I love You, Father, and it is in Jesus precious name I pray. Amen. |

| You don't know me, I'm Richard's wife and I have been keeping up with this precious little boy. My heart goes out to you and your gift from God. We have 3 children and I still can't imagine what this is like for you. Please know that people you don't even know here in Knoxville are praying for you. I looked at the picture gallery and I wanted to reach out and hold him or kiss him on his sweet little head. He is so beautiful and God always takes care of his children. |

| What an amazingly precious story the Lord has written, (and is continuing to write), for you three. We praise Him as we watch in awe at what only an omnipotent God can do in the life of one very small, but very resilient, boy. (A story about a boy named David comes to mind...) Thank you for allowing us to be your netting as you walk this tightrope. The greatest blessing throughout all of this is that the Lord is the one holding that tightrope and though He allows it, (or causes it), to be wobbly at times, we can rest assured that He will not let go of it...! He will get you across and He will be the one to hold you in His arms and put you down on solid ground! We, as your netting, are there to tangibly comfort you as you look down from such a seemingly, (especially at times), great height, but it is He who continues to guide each step that you take along that very narrow rope. Keep your eyes there with Him...He has a firm grip and He is unable to let go of that rope!!! Praise be to Him from whom all blessings flow! Thank you again for continuing to share your story with us: for your faith, love and hope. May we all, as witnesses to His majesty, endeavor to become more like His Son in all that we do...for through Him alone are we able to do anything that we do. You are proof positive of His grace, mercy and magnificence...thank you again! |

| We continue to lift sweet Bennett up to the Lord and are praying constantly for his complete healing. We pray that his body continues to gain strength as he grows and his lungs are able to fully expand and support him. God is awesome and he will continue to show his glory through y'all and your son. We love y'all! |
