Travis and Kelly, Uncle Jerry is always asking me to "check on little Bennett". It is so great to "tell of God's Wonders" in the miracles taking place. WoW! We love it! Your are in our prayers for a "just like new" recovery! Love you dearly

Kelly & Travis
The pictures are adorable! We continue to pray for Bennett's lungs to be able to work on their own and for the infection to be gone for good. We love you guys and think you are really a wonderful example of faith and what prayer can do.

Travis, Kelly, and Bennett...

I was out of town over the weekend...I could hardly wait to get back to check on "little man" Bennett. I, of course, left him in the Father's hands. Praise God that he is doing so well!!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You, thank You, thank You. The "amazement of the doctors" is worth rejoicing over!! We praise You for Your healing touch. Please, Father, continue to strengthen, clean out, and fill Bennett's lungs with oxygen...make them as good as new. Thank You, Father, for the blood gases being stablized, thank You Father that surgery is becoming less and less an option! We praise You for working in this little guy's life and bringing delight to us all with the "wonder-full" way You work. We keep looking for the miracle of his ventilator tube being removed...You are the miracle worker and we wait on Your timing.

Father, bless the doctors and nurses. Guide their actions, decisions, and steps...gift them with nights of peaceful slumber so they can be the best they can be.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray You will fill to overflowing Travis and Kelly. May they continue to seek You for wisdom, strength, and restoration of Bennett and their own bodies to glorify You in the days ahead.

I praise You for everything...what love You show us! Amen.

Kelly and Trav - SO good to hear good reports for little man Bennett. He is SO beautiful!! Thanks for posting the latest pics - his the perfect blend of you two! We are still praying and loving and rejoicing and praying more. Not too many minutes pass by without thoughts of you all. The most random things in my day inspire me to pray for you all. Things that I believe I took for granted before little Bennett was born. What a blessing to so many he has already been - and we know he will continue to be!! Our hearts remain with you - we so wish we could be there to love on ya'll, kiss baby B. and sing with you in the waiting room or in the NICU (not that you would want me to sing, but you know - I'm a real good clapper.) Love, love, love - and we continue to pray.

In reading my devotional for today from Sarah Young's book, "Jesus Calling", it says, "...I did not design the human mind to figure out the future...That is beyond your capability. I crafted your mind for continual communication with Me. Bring Me all your needs, your hopes and fears. Commit everything into My care...." I know the Speck family has done exactly this. You have tremendous faith and we want you to know you have inspired many of us at BHCC. I talked with Poppa Steve & Grana yesterday at church and they are so proud of their new grandchild....God is so good to us all. We will be out of town for a while with no access to internet, but please know you are still in our prayers many times a day and night. Many hugs from Nashville!

I was so THRILLED to read how great Bennett is doing...and the comments by the doctors about how amazingly he has recovered brought tears to my eyes. Bennett looks like he feels SO much better in the recent photos - his color is good, his eyes are beautiful and you both are just beaming!! I hope he can come home soon!!

I am so sorry I couldn't post over the weekend - I thought about you guys all weekend and hold you all in my heart. Bennett truly is a fighter and I seriously cannot wait to meet him and see you guys again.

How is his ECMO roommate doing? xoxo

We continue to pray for Bennett to heal and get rid of ALL of the infection, to rest well and to be able to breathe on his own. I praise God that you are His. I know He is seeing you through this. Keep your trust in Him no matter what. Cling to our Father and each other and know that many, many people are lifting your family and your precious "angel boy" up in prayer. I loved seeing the pictures. He is a sweet, strong little boy. Praise God!
Love in Christ,

Bennett the people in Georetown(Texas that is) are continuing to pray for you to get well. Sorry you had a set back but just keep up the good work of coming back and doing the good work of healing. Our thoughts & prayers go with you & your mommie and daddy. Maybe God is trying to teach you (Bennett) patience at an early age when it's easier than for us "older folks". Love R/C

This must be very hard to be up one minute and everything going good and down the next. But; when his lungs are healed and he is off the ventilator what a rejoicing that will be for you and your sweet Mom and Dad. Rest Bennett and get well. May God put his hedge of protection around you and your Mom and Dad.

Hey Little Ben - We've missed you a few days but were so happy to get back to your website and see how great you're doing. Paul and I are St. John in the Virgin Islands celebrating our 20th anniversary but you're still constantly in our thoughts and prayers. You just look awesome in the pictures, big and handsome already! We love you and will keep praying.
