| I am Travis's cousin on the Mitchell side and I wanted you to know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I just tucked my NICU babies into bed; the oldest is now 7 and the youngest turned 1 the day before your sweet angel was born. They spent 3 and 4 weeks in the NICU and it was the hardest 3 and 4 weeks of my life. I was sitting in the NICU in Alexandria, VA this time last year, sending up and asking for prayers.I fell on my knees many times and begged God to make my little one better. Know that prayers are answered and you will be holding, tucking in and just watching your sweet Bennett sleep at home one day very soon. It may seem forever right now, but it will happen.The hardest thing for me to remember was; it was God's timetable to make my babies better, not mine. God is teaching you the patience now, you will need in a few yers when Bennett is a toddler.:-) Please know prayers are being sent up for you and Bennett all the way across the country in WA State. Hey Little Ben - We were so happy to return from our trip this weekend to read about the big progress you made today - we were all very relieved and will sleep a little better tonight. God obviously has big plans for you and you are already proving that you are strong and courageous. We're so proud and love you very much.

Travis&Kelly,
What wonderful news. Bennett is sure showing everyone how strong he is. The strength you three have shown over the last three weeks is amazing. I have watched how many people have joined in with prayers and comfort to you and your families. We will remain with you untill the news comes that you got to hold that precious little boy of yours, and even after that he remay safe. May peace be within the hearts of you all tonight.

Travis and Kelly, What a huge blessing for the Lord to let us "see" with our own eyes and not see only "by faith" what He is doing. I always love when He does that! Thank you Lord for your mercy. My heart and eyes tear up every time I read your notes about Bennett, You are so precious to God and to us. One prayer I have been praying is for Bennett's healing to Astonish the Doctors and Med team. It is happening!!
To God be the glory great things He is doing!!Halleluiah!!!He is a miracle working God! He will complete the good work He has begun in your son. Yes!! |
