Travis & Kelly
I am rejoicing with you with tears in my eyes. I have prayed so hard for this miracle and though I know its a small step, I see a giant step coming. I am looking forward to seeing a picture of you all holding Bennett. We again had special prayer at worship this morning. Keep those smiles coming. Love to all, Gram Jeanne |

Travis, Kelly, and Bennett...
The poem "Footprints in the Sand" come to 'mind', especially the last few lines:
The Lord replied, "My precious child.
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering
when you saw only one set of footprints...
That was when I carried you."
Thank you gracious Father for carrying Travis, Kelly, and Bennett through this difficult time...across this tightrope.
What I 'feel' is joy for the miracle that is taking place in Bennett's life and body. I just want to "rejoice" in the Lord through this song:
His name is Wonderful, His name is Wonderful,
His name is Wonderful, Jesus my Lord;
He is the mighty King, master of everything,
His name is Wonderful, Jesus, my Lord.
He's the great Shepherd, the Rock of all ages,
Almighty God is He;
Bow down before Him, love and adore Him,
His name is Wonderful, Jesus, my Lord.
Dear Jesus, so much to be thankful for...Travis and Kelly for their boldness in proclaiming You are the Savior and Healer; the doctors encouraging prayer in specific areas and not only realizing, but admitting that they can only do so much and how important prayer is; the nursing staff so faithfully and loving ministering to their young charges; the prayer warriors who have stayed faithful and persevered on behalf of Bennett; the supportive family of Travis and Kelly; and most especially for YOU hearing the hearts of Your children.
Please continue to work miracles in Bennett's body...his lungs, oxygen levels, CO2 levels, brain activity, please Father stabilize him so he can get completely off the ventilator and be held by his mommy and daddy where he belongs.
We exalt You, adore You, and praise Your everlasting and Holy name. Amen. |

We are praying for you this morning and looking forward to when you guys visit us in Dallas and we can show Bennett off to all the good people here. Wanted you to know that my friend Julie (whose dad is Dr. Donald Null) asked her boyfriend's mom to pray, and she has Bennett's name and request on the bulletin board at her school in Ft. Worth. The prayers are coming from far and wide. Our hearts are full of love for all three of you!

Travis, Kelly, and Bennett...
As I gaze up at the star filled morning sky I'm so very thankful that God created this world so magnificently. Beauty, peace, order, love, and joy were His intent...not chaos.
Father God, I am so thankful YOU are in control of all things. Thank You for the beauty that surrounds us as reminders of who You are. I lift the Specks (all three of them) up to You and pray Father that you would continue bringing peace, order, love, and joy into their lives. Thank You Father for the progress thus far in "little" Bennett's body. Please continue YOUR healing touch on his lungs and oxygen levels. You are so good and we praise You for walking this walk with Travis, Kelly and Bennett, filling them with your wisdom, and guiding every step of the way.
You are LORD and we exalt You and thank You for Your grace, peace, love and healing today. Amen. |

| Travis and Kelly, I don't know if you remember me or not, but I was at ACU with you guys. I just found out about little Bennet from Chandra Perkin's website for Canon. His story proves the amazing power of prayer. I want you to know that you guys, your precious little baby, and the medical staff are all in my thoughts and prayers. God is faithful, and He WILL see you through. Rest in His peace and in the comfort that only He can provide. |
