Travis, Kelly, and Bennett...
I just walked outside to get the paper and the stars are glorious! Our creator said in the beginning after His creative works, "It is good". That is the way I feel this morning about Bennett...IT IS GOOD!
Heavenly Father, I rejoice in You this morning. I glorify Your name. Thank you for being with Bennett yesterday through the day and night. Please continue to strengthen him...lungs, heart, body! We love you and praise your name, in the precious name of Jesus. Amen. |

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth, give I unto to you. Let not your heart be troubled nor let it be afraid. - John 14:27
Praying for you all and knowing that God will continue to supply your every need. |

Hey Little Ben - I have tears of joy over your mom & dad's last posting this morning at 12:30. I woke at 2:45 with a peaceful feeling that God had answered our prayers and things were better - He is so very steadfast. I love you sweetheart and will pray that you have a very strong day.

Travis, Kelly, and Bennett...
Philippians 4:5-7 "Let your forbearing spirit be know to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Jesus, we bring our hearts to you to present before our Father in Heaven. Please Jesus, heal little Bennett...his lungs, his heart, his body. Strengthen him, comfort him, give him a peaceful night's rest while his body heals.
Jesus, please be with Travis and Kelly and all their extended family. Give them wisdom, patience, love overflowing, a heart filled with song for You and the miracle you are working on their son's behalf. Thank You for your love, compassion, and healing touch. Thank you for keeping Bennett before our Father. Thank You for making it possible for us to come before the Father with our requests and have the assurance that You never tire or grow weary of listening and working on our behalf.
To God be the glory, and power, and praise. Amen. |

Miracles happen around the world every day, just like in the story below. We continue to pray for Bennett's miracle.
Owen hits 9!
By Ian Willis
A youngster got a birthday surprise today when a message arrived from his footballing hero.
Michael Owen Hughes, who is called by his middle name, was dubbed as "the miracle baby" when he was born three months prematurely in 1998, as reported by the Mail at the time.
The Hartlepool youngster weighed in at less than three pounds and was given little chance of survival by doctors.
But Owen, who is named after the England football star, went on to defy the experts and was today celebrating his ninth birthday at his home in Arch Court, Hartlepool.
To make his day even more special, Newcastle United and England striker Michael Owen sent him his best wishes.
The £17m star first became aware of his namesake's plight when he was contacted at his previous club Liverpool shortly after Owen was born.
He sent regular messages of support to the Hughes family during the worrying early days.
The Magpies star told the Mail: "I'm delighted to wish Owen a happy birthday. I was told of how he had been named after me when I was at Liverpool and I wished the family all the best then.
"It's great to hear that, nine years on, he's doing so
well."
Owen's mum, Michelle, said: "We always try to make a fuss about Owen on his birthday, because when he was born so prematurely we didn't know how long he'd be with us for.
"But he is coming on fine now, and he has no long-term health problems, thankfully.
"We're all very proud of him, and the fact that Michael Owen took the time to write to him on his birthday makes it even more special.
"I'd like to thank Michael and the people at Newcastle United who sorted this out. It's is much appreciated by me, and it's made Owen's day!"
Michelle's waters broke 23 weeks into her pregnancy.
Doctors said the baby would have little chance of survival if he was born at that stage.
Michelle was given constant treatment to help the baby's lungs mature before giving birth four weeks later.
And it was almost three months before Owen was eventually allowed to leave North Tees Hospital. |

As I have been thinking and praying for you this evening, this praise song continously comes to my mind..."My comfort, my shelter, tower of refuge and strength...let every breath all that I am, never cease to worship you." I can't stop thinking of you and little Bennett. We join you in praise for the miracle of His creation with Bennett's life, and the incredible ways God is working through your family and this situation. We continue to ask our Father for Bennett's healing, comfort, and strength. May you find refuge in Him.
With love,
Griff and Tracy |
