Gina + family...
Just wanted you to know I am one of the many who are praying for John's complete recovery. I know what it's like to "live" at Vandy while you stand by your loved ones side in the Trauma Unit. It's certainly not an easy place to be, so I'm praying that God would give you strength, rest, and health. Sleeping on those uncomfortable chairs in the lobby can take a toll, so I'm praying God will also help you to feel rested. I'm also praying that the "doctor rounds" each morning would continue to bring good news. Carrie has done an excellent job keeping everyone informed, and from what I'm reading into her messages, John is doing quite well. Slow improvements is a very, very good thing in the trauma unit. I can't wait until all these prayers are answered and God brings John home! As hospitable as the Cook's are, I'm sure they'll throw him a huge party!!! I want to be there!!!

We continue to lift John and your family up in prayer. James 5:15 says "And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up." Keep your faith and look to God for all things.
