Hi. I take care of the http://bglob.com website and want to let you know that the information about the blood drive and benefit auction has been added to our site. If you have any changes or other items you'd like me to post, please let me know. The local cycling community was so devastated to hear about the accident. Many local riders know John but I'm sorry to say I don't. Regardless, all of us can easily put ourselves in his shoes. We are praying for his speedy recovery and for the safety of all of our cycling friends. It sounds like John is making good progress, which must be so encouraging for you all. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

John, Gina and girls,
I was very sorry to hear about John's accident but I am so encouraged by all of the progress he has been making at Vandy. Reading the updates and through some of the journal posts, it is obvious that there are lots of good people out there pulling for your family and praying for your recovery. I've added you to the prayer list at my home church as well (BG Christian).

I have been working out of town alot lately and haven't been able to ride with the club much over the summer. However, I was able to make the Shaker Tavern ride after church yesterday. While we were at the sag stop, a woman from your church approached us and relayed the information about the blood drive and benefit dinner. I had my blackberry with me and immediately sent out the information to the bglob listserve. I hope lots of folks are able to come.

Thanks to the Cook family for posting the updates on their website.

God Bless the Phillips Family.

Jeff

Dear John, Gina and loved ones..

Just wanted you to know that the Lord brought you to mind this morning during our quiet time and with it a holy moment. During Sunday school yesterday you were lifted in prayer to our Father in Heaven. I have no doubt that this went on in every class. The Church as one is petitioning the Lord for His healing spirit to be poured upon you continually. We know that He is faithful and true.

Continue to place your trust in the Lord. Know that He waits daily to hear your sweet voices.

Psalm 37:3-5 tells us” Trust in the Lord and do good: so shalt thou dwell in the land, and surely you will be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord and He shall give the desires of thine heart. Commit thy ways unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.”

Should you need anything, we are there. Don’t hesitate to ask. We miss seeing all of you..

Marc, Penny, Kelli and Kristian PS 63:7

John, Gina, and Family,

The power of prayer for John's healing and recovery was very evident today from your church family during services. Jane and I continue to pray that John will improve each day and that God will grant you and your family peace and comfort in the days ahead.
