The jaundice seems to be clearing up.

And as of Tuesday, the 28th, he was weighing 9lbs 8oz. way to grow little guy! 

He has arrived!

12:36pm Friday August tenth.

He weighed in at 8lbs 14oz and was 21 inches long.

He is beautiful and we are thrilled.

I will write more very soon, right now I am going to go spend sum time with Pablo and Dante.They are in the room watching tv. :)

We are so happy darling Dante.

Three more days.

Wow.

Today we went to the hospital for our pre-admin appt. I got final bloodwork done and my hospital bracelet and card.

At this time, in three days, Dante Lucian Orellana will be out in the world. We will finally be able to meet you!!!! I am so excited!  And so scared! It's scary wanting something SO much. I just want nothing more to hear those first cries.

Well, its getting close.

At the surgeons yesterday, he informed Pablo and I that we could expect Dante to already be weighing in at 9 pounds and that I probably will go into labour before my c-section date. WOW!

I REALLY need to lay off the cheesecake.

But as long as he is healthy, that's the important thing.

Today my mum and I went out. Mum bought a crib bedding set for Dante and a baby swing. We also put a 4-in-1 crib aside via raincheck, as they had none in stock. OOOH and one of the BEST things.... mum bought an AIR CONDITIONER!!!! We have learned the hard way that our house does NOT do so well in the heat, lol. And we certainly want little (or not so little) Dante to be comfy.

I am getting really excited. And I know Pablo is getting excited too.  

On June 29th, grandma-to-be, Edith, put on a wonderful baby shower with many wonderful ladies from Pablo's side of the family. My mom and Shannon were there too.

Little Dante is such a lucky baby! Grandma and Grandpa (Edith and Fernando) got him a super cool Zooper Waltz stroller, and there were beautiful handmade blankets, an all-in-one playplace, SO many clothes and accessories. His room is jam-packed with so many things. A bouncing chair with tonnes of activities and a jump-a-roo thingy (not sure of the name, lol... I am SO out of touch with all these new baby things!) We have a basinette, highchair, car-seats (two of them ) and so much more.

Today Grandma and Grandpa Orellana came over and brought a change table from a friend of the family ANd two big bags FULL of the most darling little boy outfits. Even at the rate that babies go through clothes, i think i could almost go for a whole month of not washing his laundry and STILL have a fresh clean outfit for every day! Also, from the same dear lady we got an almost new 6-in-1 baby carrier. Wow.

We are so happy. So excited. We can't wait to hold little Dante Lucian in our arms. 

Well, we just got moved into our new home. What a busy, busy time! Dante will have a nice room, all to himself, but in the beginning, he will be bunking in with mum and dad!

He has a little blue gingham bassinette and lots of cuddly creatures and bright fun toys.

We are SO excited!
