Well another month has come and gone. Can you believe I'm four months old - or as my daddy says "1/3 of a year!" I'm growing well and changing by the day. My hair is getting darker and thicker, my eyes are still blue and I LOVE to chew on my fingers. I am rocking but not quite rolling still. But at the rate I'm going it could be any day now. I went to the today today and had another round of shots - definitely not my favorite thing in the world. I now weigh 16 lbs 3 oz and am 26 1/2" long. The doctor continues to say I'm going to be tall like my daddy. I also have two teeth forming on the bottom sides and I've been eating oatmeal for about two weeks. I'm happy, I'm healthy and mommy and daddy are enjoying every phase with me (even TEETHING!).

Well I'm now 15 1/2 weeks old and growing strong. I'm getting so long that my pants don't fit and I'm already in 6 month pants! I'm starting to teethe and so far not doing too bad. I do have a few fits here and there but nothing mommy and daddy can't handle. I'm still sleeping through the night and falling well into our family schedule. I just started sitting in my exersaucer over the weekend and it's lots of fun. Mommy can't believe how big I'm getting and the fact that I'm ready for my new toy. Oh and great news - I rolled over from belly to back for the first time yesterday. What a joy to hit that milestone. Next comes food!

Another week has gone by and now I'm 14 weeks old. Mommy is ready to freeze time so I'll always be this size and need her but daddy is ready for me to get bigger and start talking. He can't wait to come home and here me say "Daddy." I'm still not rolling over yet but I am getting better with my belly time. I can reach for my toys while on my belly but sometimes I just pull the blanket and move my toys to me - what can I say, why do more work then you have to somtimes! I also finally upgraded to taking six ounce bottles, hey I'm a growing boy! This is all the update I have for now, check the pictures mom put up of me from this week!

I had my first experience with having my pictures taken and it was a lot of fun. Look at how cute I am! Such a big boy. We'll see how much I change before my next studio pictures are taken here in a few months.

I'm now 12 weeks old, I'll be "officially" three months old a week from today. Mommy and daddy just can't get over how fast time is flying by and how quickly I'm growing. In the past three weeks I've gained a full pound plus five ounces. Go me! I'm continuing to sleep through the night now which is great for mommy and daddy. And I've even been camping now for the first time. I sat on the swing with grandma and grandpa Melson and watched the storm come in, I'm going to be a storm watcher like my pappaw someday. We talked about good fishing spots and what you can catch after a good rain. I have my first head cold and man is my mommy a worrier! She cried more then me but I know it's because she loves me. Thanks for checking in on me and continuing to watch me grow. Love you all!

Tomorrow Ethan will be dedicated at our church. For those who don't know what a dedication service is let me try to explain briefly. It's more a statement of faith and a promise by the parents to raise the child up for the Lord, we are dedicating Ethan back to the Lord who gave him to us. Tomorrow is also our 6 year wedding anniversary so it'll be a very special day all around and we look forward to spending it with our friends and family.

Well today Ethan had his two month well visit with his pediatrician. He is now weighing in at a whopping 13 pounds 1 ounce and is 25 inches long. For his age group he's measuring in the 85% range for weight and the 95% range for height. Overall he's doing wonderfully and the doctor even mentioned that his mommy is doing a great job (which is always nice to hear). The downside to this visit is that it was also for Ethan's first round of vaccines. He received one oral vaccine and three shots (one in the left leg and two in the right). This was not a pleasant experience for Ethan to endure or mommy to watch. But he's doing very well so far.

Last night and this morning for the first time I slept in my crib the whole time. I went down at 9 and stayed asleep until 1 a.m. Daddy and I woke up for a feeding and back to sleep I went. Then I didn't wake back up until 5. A good night sleep for all of us. Let's hope this continues. While mommy and I like cuddling together it's time I learn to sleep in my crib. This is definite improvement.
