Wasnt going to post until later but yeah am just sitting around doing nothing waiting for the time to pass so thought I would quickly post.

Woke up early this morning, but whats new lol   Feeling a bit queazy but may be a bit of nerves too?  Have had brekky - spaghetti on toast but didnt really satisfy me for long lol ...... my appetite is slowly starting to come back.

Well not long now, its 9:30am.  Troy and I have decided to leave about 10:45 just in case there is a bit of traffic.  Will attempt to have something to eat before I go, maybe some of Mum's vege soup again.... i seem to be able to stomach that ok.

Must also make a start on drinking my water soon too - they said I have to have 500mls of water stopping at half an hour before my appointment time so it all needs to be done by 11am.  I so hope they are running on time, would hate to wait any longer than I need to especially with a full bladder.  Its going to be an interesting experience thats for sure!

Anyways will leave it here for now and report back later once we're home :)

Well back from my hospital visit to see L & A.   Omg I didnt want to leave, she is just the most gorgeous thing!  Made me so wish August to come quicker.  I think by the end L was probably thinking "ok make sure you leave her with me" as I held onto her for like an hour.  Was just so mesmerising, now I know why some mothers just stare at their babies for hours.  I think I might be just a tad like that when our one arrives lol

I went into Target whilst I was at Pac Fair to kill a bit of time and guess what I stumbled across - the Fisher Price swing I want and it was on special!!   How much of a co-incidence is that!!  My mind must of been telling me to go into Target for a reason.  The RRP is $229 and Target had it for $149 so yeah I wasnt gonna pass that price up so I have put it on Lay by.  Figured I might as well string the payments out over 8 weeks as its another thing we only have to store lol  I have put a picture of the swing in the 'baby items brought' gallery

Anyways off to organise dinner - not long now till our ultrasound!

Well we have made it to the 10th January 2008!  One more day till our first ultrasound - we are just sooo excited!  Troy has the day off work so he is coming with me.  I probably wont sleep tonight, I cant wait to see 'snooks' in real time and get some pictures to post here on the site so everyone can see.

On another note, my good friend L had her little baby girl delivered yesterday by c-section.  They have named her Ava - such a pretty name.  She weighed 6 pound 8 which is a very good size, hopefully 'snooks' will be around the late 6, early 7 mark *prays*..... so guess what I am doing today, yep going to see them both at Pindara.  L sent me a pic of her last night, she is sooo cute!  Has heappps of hair.

I have the day off today, taking it as leave for working New Years day. It worked in well as yesterday I was feeling pretty yucky.  Woke up with a major headache which stayed with me most of the day - even after the hours and hours of sleep I had.  I tried to keep my fluids up but yeah even water wasnt sitting too good in my stomach yesterday   I suppose I have to expect that I will have 'off' days but yeah headaches are the worst as you just have to deal with them; I would prefer not to take any medication just as a precautionary thing.  I feel alot better today though, at least the headache has subsided, thats one thing I struggle to deal with.

Am thinking I might go for a massage next week.  Just a nice relaxing one.  Figured with all the classes I have been doing especially RPM (cycling) it would be good to just chill out so I will ring Leesa today and see if I can get in.

Anyways thats about all from me - must go get something to eat.  Am thinking Marmite and avocado on toast hehe

Well I am home from my doctors appointment. All is well. Got a referral for a dating scan and he also wants me to do another urine test.. dunno what for but yeah thats just him being thorough.        

So our appointment for the first ultrasound is this Friday at 11.:30am at South Coast Radiology at John Flynn ... we are now soooo excited!

Funny thing happened at the docs. He went to weigh me and I said "i am lucky I havent put on any weight yet"  I stood on the scales and he said "ahhh yes you have you are 67kgs!!!  I was like "Nooo, there is no way I am 67kgs as my scales at home say 64.....turns out his scales are sooooo wrong as I have just weighed myself on my digital ones here at home and I am 64.4 ...                        

How the heck can his scales be out by THREE KILO's!!!  Thats a mighty big difference.  Anyways I aint going off his scales!  I will use the ones here or the digital ones we have at work.  His ones were the old 'clock style'

I am have been checking my weight every couple of days and it is staying round the same so yeah I am happy.... but yeah couldnt believe it when he said that.

Anyways thats about all from me - gotta make a start on dinner. It has been so damn hot here today, all the rain has made it so muggy.  Might jump in the pool later for a swim 

Well here I am again up early..... its 5:30am just about to make some crumpets for brekky

Troy spent the night in Brisbane last night seeing his dad so Sasha and I had the whole of our king size bed to ourselves... yay!!!   And boy did I have a good sleep, well until a cat decided to jump over our fence (colourbond) and make a total racket.  Of course, Sasha was out there in a shot! 

Back to work today for me  I will be so glad when I dont have to work sundays anymore lol  Only 5 more months of work.... hahaha  I have taken Thursday off this week (using my day in lieu from working New Years day) so I guess I can look forward to having a shorter week hehe

Troy and I have been discussing when I will be finishing work and have decided I will finish in June - probably around the 19th which will tie in nicely with the end of the financial year. Thats unless I am way too uncomfortable and need to finish earlier but I am sure I will be able to last that long lol

This week is going to be an eventful one - back to doctors tomorrow and then ultrasound friday    Troy has the day off so he is coming with me, he cant wait - he is sooo excited!  I hope they give us some pictures.  I know we probably wont be able to see much but it will be great to get our first glimpse at 'snooks' and just be reassured everything is growing as it should.   We only have to wait another 3 weeks after Friday anyways to have the 12-week ultrasound done, we will see far more then!

I was talking to a friend yesterday who used the same OB I am seeing for the birth of her son she said every appointment he allows you to hear the heartbeat so I thought that was pretty cool!

Anyways brekky time, I am starving!

Well woke up this morning at 6:30am.... couldnt believe that I had slept in till that time lol

Another miserable day here again! Rain, rain and more rain. I am a bit over it to be honest but it has certainly helped the water restrictions, thats for sure! Dams are filling up nicely!

Have had a busy morning - had to drop Sasha off early at the groomers, she is having her undercoat stripped again.  She is malting something chronic.  Went grocery shopping at Robina with mum then have come home to make a batch of spinach and ricotta cannelloni so I can take it to work the next few days.  This afternoon Mum and I making a big batch of vege soup, seems the easiest way to get veges into me at the moment.

The past couple of days I have lost my appetite, which is very unlike me; I usually eat heaps so when I am hungry and am feeling good I will eat more to make up for when I feel 'not-so-good'.   This morning I made myself a fresh juice using our Breville Juicer - apple, orange and pineapple.  It was so nice and I think 'snooks' appreciated it too, go the Vitamin C hehe

Not alot else planned for the day, just lazin around good movie day.  Might see what is on Austar later :)

Anyways mum has just cooked Gnocchi for lunch with bacon and mushroom sauce.... yummo so off to eat!

Woke up this morning feeling horrible!  Major headache, nausea got worse overnight :(    Didnt get much sleep.  Decided I was just not well enough to go to work so am at home resting today.

Have also lost my appetite.  I want to eat as I know I am hungry but yeah once I start to eat something it just isnt appealing.  The only thing I am finding I am able to eat at the moment is bread, which is going to be a bad habit to get into as usually I dont eat that much bread and isnt good from a carb point of view if you know what I mean... I'll end up the size of a house haha

Went out and brought heaps of fruit and vege so will get back into eating healthy again and hopefully things will settle down.  I am going to make myself a pot of vege soup, its always handy to have in the event I cant stomach anything else.

Well I am 8 weeks tomorrow, time is going by quite quickly actually.  4 more days until I go back to the doctor, hoorah!  Am so looking forward to next week - have decided will probably have the scan done on Friday as I am pretty sure Troy has the day off.  Cant wait!
