Feeling very non-energetic today.  Mum and I have just got back from going to the Meat Centre.  Weather is overcast again, really windy :(    was planning on swimming today but yeah dont think that'll happen somehow.  Up north has had cyclone warnings and we are expected to get the brunt of it too I think tonight or tomorrow; not us bad though.

I started searching the net last night on ways to adapt Sash to the baby.  Found some interesting websites.  One which recommended playing a CD to your dog which has all the different sounds that baby makes.... so have ordered the CD and will make a start once the CD arrives.  I figured the more time she has to adjust the better hey!  I also brought a doll from Crazy Clarks this morning; was only 13 bucks, bargain!!!  which cries so I am going to use that too.

I took Sashie for a walk this morning and thought I would take the stroller with me aswell so again, she will get used to it.  A lady walked towards me and looked into the stroller, said hello but gave me a weird look - she must of thought I was nuts having nothing in there but yeah if it gets Sasha used to it then I dont care what people think or say!

Anyways not alot else on the agenda today. Back to work for me tomorrow, sundays are always so exciting... NOT!   We are going to Zen (chinese restaurant at casino) tomorrow night for dinner.  I have already pre-order my salmon and veges, yum!  They do such beautiful food there and Larry always looks after us  :)

Anyways I feel a nana nap coming on ... geez and its only 10:30am

Was up at 4:30am as had to open the gym this morning. 

5am - I had my electric toothbrush on my tongue to try and get rid of the foul taste I woke up with in my mouth and yeah must of put the toothbrush just a tad too far back and dry reached  hehe  I then spent the next 2 minutes standing there thinking "ok am I going to vomit?" as my stomach started to churn. 

I was already running late as it was and I thought if I dont leave now I will definitely be late so decided to brave the drive to work.  Felt crappy all morning even after having a couple of pieces of toast for brekky once M arrived.  Lunch - yeah well I wanted to eat but just wasnt up to it;  went for a small bowl of spinach and ricotta tortellini and only ended up eating about half of it. 

Now that I am home though, I want to eat; go figure.... always the way! It is so much easier to just relax and enjoy food at home.  Mum is cooking something really nice in the kitchen, its making me hungry :(   I have just yelled out to her and she said 'it is dinner' so something to look forward to I guess.

Two days off now for me, not alot planned.  Weather is overcast again today.  Hopefully I will get a chance to get the washing done.  I try to steer clear of using the dryer wherever possible.

Anyways might have a nannie nap.... its been a very longggg, slow morning!

Well we braved the crowds this morning at Robina Town Centre and I am happy to say we brought our first big item today - a stroller!

I have posted a couple of pictures of it in the gallery, it is pretty cool!  We found it in David Jones and got 10% off so we said 'yeah we'll take it'.  Troy and I were excited to get home and assemble it, took the both of us a little while to figure out where things went but all sorted now.  It is way easy to fold down and is very compact so I am happy about that, and it is quite light too which is always good!

It is a 'Valcro Baby' (brand)  Runabout Tri Mode is the model - more info is here:  http://www.valco.com.au/ProductItem.asp?pid=1&bid=17&sid=575  It is pretty cool, we tested the harness out by putting Teddy into it  but yeah he is a little too fat lol .... (Teddy is a HUGE teddy that Troy brought me years ago when we first started going out)

Next item on the list is the cot, YAY!   We will probably wait until we know what we are having until we get that cause then we can get the linen at the same time so thats a few weeks away yet. 

I hit another milestone tomorrow - the 7 week mark, hoorah!  Only two more weeks until we have the first scan, I cant wait to see and hear 'snooks' heart beating!

Just finished lunch.  made a burger with some of the chicken left over from yesterday, yummo!

Feeling a tad nauseous today on and off but still not to the point where I feel the need to vomit.  I keep contemplating whether I will actually suffer from morning sickness or not.  Somedays I feel pregnant and then other days I dont, its strange!  I guess I should be lucky that I am not having to hug the toilet - yet anyway!  haha

Weather is shitty today, been raining on and off. Troy and I are thinking we might go and see a movie later but yeah trying to decide what movie to actually see!

Dont you just hate Christmas Day, you eat far too much then all you want to do afterwards is sleep!  Man I have eaten myself silly! 

We had a beautiful lunch - mashed spuds with onion & cream cheese through it, broccoli and cauli with cheese sauce and chicken that had stuffing through the middle of it with gravy, yummo!  

Went to chill out in the lounge after cleaning up and fell asleep on the lazy boy for about an hour. Woke up to my arm covered in drool, hahaha ewwww!  Was hungry again so had a big bowl of pavlova and trifle, just to make myself feel sick again lol

The weather today has been alot cooler, had a shower earlier this morning.  Sky is very overcast now as I look out the window.  Sasha is passed out at my feet, she has such a good life that dog! 

It doesnt feel like a Tuesday to me, more like the weekend.  It's strange how public holidays can throw your body clock out huh?      

I am glad I am not working tomorrow.  I am back to work on thursday for one day then I have another two days off, yay!

Just chillin out for the rest of today, watching King of the Hill at the moment on Fox8 but I feel another nana nap coming on.     

Not used to feeling this sleepy all the time, and some days I feel sleepy even when I havent done anything lol  Oh well hopefully it will ease up soon, from what I have read the 2nd trimester is alot better; my 2nd trimester starts around the 1st Feb, looking forward to it!

Only another couple of weeks until I go back to see my doctor to get a referral for my first ultrasound; we are planning to have it done on the 9th of January when I will be exactly 9 weeks. Things should well and truly show up on the US then :)  I cant wait to get a first glimpse at 'snooks' and hear the heartbeat, it is certainly going to be a strange but very emotional experience for me as I am sooo sensitive.

Well its Christmas Day!  MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone!  I cant believe another year is just about over, scary how fast this year has gone.  Have just woken up, its 5:30am and have just had my vitamins with my milk.  Mum and dad arent even up yet but I am planning on getting them up soon by taking in a cup of coffee hehe

Troy the lazy arse is still in bed but I dont think he had a very good night sleep last night, said I was snoring.... which is probably true. I have been having the best sleeps since we brought our new bed - the best investment we ever made!

Well I am off to peel the potatoes and kumara then take Sasha out for a walk before it gets too hot

Well another day has started; another day to cross off the calendar of being further along in my pregnancy.  236 days to go!  lol  seems like an eternity which it is lmao but I know it will all be worth it at the end.  To be blessed with the gift of a child still blows my mind when I really take the time to think hard about it.  After seeing Harrison the other day (A's new baby) it sunk in how precious they really are.  I couldnt help but just stand and watch him while he was sleeping in the stroller.  He looked so calm and so peaceful, just laid there fast asleep with not a care in the world. I cant wait to have you here 'snooks'.

Anyways today is another awesome day!  Weather wise, it is going to be a scorcher!  It is only 6:30am but yeah I am starting to sweat already.  I have a feeling I may need to use the pool a few times today.

Troy and I are off to Target this morning.  I want to show him a stroller that I came across the other day that I like.  He also has a $50 David Jones gift voucher he has to use so might use it on some baby stuff hehe   We're waiting until Boxing Day though before we go spending any money on getting any of 'snooks' stuff. 

We have already sussed out the cot/change table set we are getting for the nursery.  The cot is an Australian made cot that also converts to a toddler bed and the change table to match is a four drawer tallboy with a wardrobe and change table insert on the top.  We are probably going to stick to the colour pictured  ie  the very dark Jaco colour

Phew... my mind was instantly put a little more at ease after reading that.  I am not overly concerned about the pains I am getting at the moment cause I realise that my body does have to make quite a few adjustments. My body is obviously decided to do this just a few weeks ahead  lol     (I am only 6 weeks 2 days today) I just have to learn to stop being such a sooky la la  hehe

Well ok I am finally home.  What an exhausting day!  I only had two things to do today but man I am wrecked.

My car drives like brand new again thanks to K @ Quickfit Tyres.     I have 4 brand new BF Goodrich tyres and new brake pads...yeah!!   I cant believe how different my car drives now lol  but yeah the reason is obvious haha

Finally got up to beenleigh to see V about 3pm.  The canvas of Sasha has turned out far better than I thought!!  When I got home and showed Mum and Dad, they both commented saying it looked awesome!  I got Dad to hang it up on the wall near the kitchen, it looks really really good.  (the photo we used is the 'October 2007' picture in the 'Sasha' gallery).  Thankyou to V again... love ya work! :)

Anyways dinner is just about ready, Dad is cooking hamburgers...yum! 

Well managed to not wake up until 5:15am this morning.  Body must of needed a little bit more rest.  I wont complain!

Beautiful day today.  Have just sat down to have a bit of a rest - I have been a busy little bee this morning.  I have already done two loads of washing and hung it out.  I have done a 20 minute walk on the treadmill and now I am thinking about going in the pool.  It looks soooo nice, might do some aqua aerobic sorta exercises.

Am feeling really good today.  No back pain which is always a good thing.  Dont feel nauseous at all either, hooray!  I am starting to think that maybe I might be one of the lucky ones who will not suffer from morning sickness, here's hoping anyways.

Gotta go out at 11 to drop my car off at QuickFit.  Troy has organised for new tyres to be put on as the tread is REAL low, like 1.5mm oops!  Am also getting new brake pads as the past few days I have noticed they are starting to grind when I turn hard to the left... probably a warning sign isnt it lol 

So... yeah somehow I have to kill about 2 hours whilst thats being done. Think I might go to Ashmore City Shopping Centre as its just across the road.

After that I am heading up to Beenleigh to pick up a really awesome photo of Sasha (our husky) that V is putting on canvas for me.  I havent told Troy or Mum and Dad that I was having it done.  It was going to be a surprise for Xmas but I think I will just give it to them tonight.  It is pretty big so will be pretty hard to hide.  It will probably only just fit in my little beep beep Barina hehe
