Well my baby shower yesterday was great, had lots of fun and got alot of really cool pressies!  Have added some pictures in the photo section.

I am quite tired today, have absolutely nothing planned tomorrow so will be a day of complete rest.  I need it after having been on the go the past couple of days getting things organised for the baby shower. 

Early night tonight I think - stayed up last night till about 11:30pm watching the 'Saw' movies.  Hubby got all four of them out.  They arent as scary as I thought they would be but yeah I only managed to stay awake to watch the first one and the start of the 2nd one.  Hubby and my friend stayed up and watched the 3rd one but yeah I was far too buggered.

My friend and I went to Coolangatta this morning to see if we could pick up some more wallpaper borders for Snooks' room.  Mum had seen them in one of the shops when they were staying down there a few weeks back but she only brought one packet as she wasnt sure whether we would use them but we have decided that we will.  To our luck there was still two packets there, so I brought both - we're planning to put them up later this afternoon!

Anyways am off to watch 'Saw 4' before we have to drop my friend off at the train station to catch her flight.

Well today is the day of my baby shower!

Am up early again - had a shocking sleep   Am just about to start on making the sandwhiches doing a combination of ham, cheese, egg, lettuce and corned beef, lettuce and cheese.  Mum is helping, she makes the best sandwhiches!  Then all I have to do later is put the party pies, chicken nibblies and quiches in the oven and thats it - fairly straight forward.

Guess what it is raining so my plan to set up outside aint gonna happen  have to set up inside now but thats ok.  It is quite windy and I wouldnt like to be sitting out in the cold. 

I got a huge surprise last night.  I was sitting in the lounge waiting for hubby to get home from work talking to a friend on the phone and next minute a friend of mine who I havent seen for like 2 years appeared, got the shock of my life.  I had sent her an invitation a couple of weeks back but she had replied to say she couldnt make it because flights were too expensive at last minute but low and behold she managed to make it - sneaky!  I am so happy to have her here to share the day (she was one of my bridesmaids)

Anyways must go and start decorating - will post again tomorrow, hopefully with some photos!

Well I thought I would sit down for a while and have a break. Have just finished making the MnM cookies for tomorrow - they have turned out far nicer than the ones I made last week... which is just as well cause I'm using them as my 'thankyou for coming' favours!

Went out shopping early this morning to pick up the last of the things I need so am home for the rest of the day. Not alot else to do, made the cheesecake last night so tomorrow morning it will be up early to make sandwhiches, blow up balloons and make up the punch. I made all the decorations last night whilst watching TV. Just need to pick up the helium balloons in the morning but I will send hubby off to do that I think.

Its quite chilly here today, the wind is cold - I am hoping it wont be as cold tomorrow!

Anyways its lunchtime, time for a sandwhich - I'm starving!

Well I am finally home .... geez what a hectic morning I had, I am sooo buggered!

Managed to get all the food shopping done for my baby shower on saturday. A few little jobs I have to do tomorrow but they shouldnt take long if I head out first thing.

While I was out I picked up some Blackmores Raspberry Leaf tablets.... they are supposed to assist with labour so yeah will be interesting to see if it makes much or any difference hehe  I guess time will tell hey!

Have just made a goulash for dinner and have organised the potatoes so finally now I can sit down and have a bit of a rest!

Well I had the BEST sleep last night, omg its been ages since I woke up feeling so good!  Hubby said I was snoring my head off ... ooops oh well, I needed it as the last few nights have been shocking.

Well I have a busy day planned today - alot of shopping to do for my baby shower on saturday so must get in the shower and get organised. Wanna hit the supermarket early and avoid the madness!

Well 1st of July is here .... welcome to the new financial year!  Omg I cant believe I can now say that I am due next month, scary!

Am feeling much better today - well and truly over the worst of it now thank goodness.  I didnt want to be sick for my baby shower on saturday.  Still have a croaky cough but yeah thats nothing!

This morning woke up to some shocking but awesome news that my friend in Adelaide had had her baby.  Left my mobile out in the kitchen; of all bloody nights lol  she had texted me at 9:30pm to say her contractions had started and that they were heading to the hospital.  Bub was born at 10:37pm and weighed 5lb 2oz... very quick labour; only 2.5 hours all up, no drugs!!

Although 6 weeks early (she was due the same day as me) they are both doing great and bub is breathing on her own.  My friend is still in shock (as you would be) about how it all happened so quickly.  I think it will probably take her a few days to process - I know if it was me I would be like 'ok yesterday I was pregnant and now my little baby is here.. what the'... just so much to absorb!   Congrats to you and Roy Vic I am so very happy that Bean has arrived safely - cheeky girl, just couldnt wait could she!

Its a beautiful day here today, sun is shining!  I have just hung out a load of towels on the line.  Not alot else planned for the day.  It sure is nice to be a lady of leisure now.  Guess I should enjoy it while I can, ya just never know when snooks will decide he wants to enter the world!

Well here we are - last day of June .  Had an awful sleep last night; couldnt get comfortable no matter how I laid  oh well should be getting used to it really.... only gonna get worse lol  

I kept getting these weird sensations in my belly too; am starting to think Snooks is on the move downwards.  Yesterday arvo felt heaps of movement which I will put down to Braxton Hicks'.  This morning I feel a bit "heavy" down low so maybe he is trying to sink down into my pelvis.  OB said its about this time that babies start to descend so hoorah.  Still another 2 weeks until I see him again, I am guessing by the 18th Snooks will well and truly engaged and good to go hehe

I cant believe this week I will be 34 weeks... time is just flying.  Baby shower is on this coming saturday - am looking forward to it.  For a change I am actually organised - have finalised all the food and the games.

Have just made some muesli slice - had a packet of muesli in the pantry I wanted to get rid of.  Made the recipe up - added some honey, butter and brown sugar and a bit of flour; threw it together and put it in the oven lol .... will be interesting to see how it turns out haha

Nice day here today although a little chilly.  At least we have sunshine though!  Might take sasha out for a walk soon, poor thing hasnt been out of the house for about a week now; gee I'm slack hehe

Anyways thats it from me..... not alot else is going on at the moment, my life is so interesting NOT!   Till next time.....

Had a very restless sleep last night; couldnt get comfortable and my throat was giving me absolute hell.  Woke up feeling way worse and have lost my voice.... arrrgghhhh!

I have just finished baking some MnM cookies as a trial for next week. They have turned out really good, warm cookies mmmmm so yummy! Now I am back in bed watching Lifestyle Food and here I will probably stay for the rest of the day. 

I have so much phlegm buildup, and my chest, ouch it hurts so much when I cough .... why me, why now   ahhh well I will get over it but I just wish it would hurry up and go away.  I am over having to carry a box of tissues everywhere with me lol

Had planned to go to the movies tonight to see 'You dont mess with the Zohan' but yeah probably wont go now.  I'll see how I am feeling later but yeah it is probably better for me to have a night in to try and get rid of whatever I have got.

Anyways feeling a bit peckish but go and hunt down some cheese and crackers...
