Well another week down, havent posted for ages. Sorry for being so slack. Not alot is going on though hence why I havent posted. I am just patiently waiting for the 20th to come so we can have another look at 'Snooks' and see how "she" (am convinced we're having a girl) is growing and just be reassured everything is going as it should be. Went to pre-natal Yoga again this morning. It always makes me feel so good afterwards. I must be the one that is the least furtherest along now as all the other ladies are bigger than me, well I am assuming I am with the size of their bellies. Have just finished doing 20 minutes on the treadmill; will probably do another 20 or 30 minutes later so I dont feel as bad for having fish and chips hehe I posted some photos yesterday of some clothing Troys mum Shelli sent to us. All in cream of course until we know what 'snooks' will be. The blanket is especially nice, soooo soft! Not alot planned today. Weather is nice - a little cloudy with a slight breeze but not too bad. I'm just waiting for Troy to come home from work then we are going to the spit for a picnic lunch. Going to take Sashie too so she can have a bit of a run around and maybe even a swim if there isnt too many people down there. Back to start another working week tomorrow. Thank goodness I have a week's annual leave soon (start it the day of the scan). Will be good to not have to worry about work and just have some time to chill out.

Well its Friday again!! Had such a busy day today - spent the morning out grocery shopping (hate it with a passion) and I dont know what was going on but there was sooo many people in Woolworths, trolleys everywhere! Really frustrating when you just want to get in and get out I tell ya!
Have just made a big pot of Chicken/Vege/Noodle soup smells sooo yummy and am about to make a coleslaw and crumb some veal snitzel for dinner tonight! Thought I would sit down for half an hour or so as I have been on the go since early this morning.
Back pain has come back again after having a really good night's sleep last night. I slept with a pillow behind me and another one between my legs length ways, boy it helped! Felt alot better this morning when I first woke up. I have Yoga again in the morning so looking forward to that! Anyways must fly - snooks is hungry.... time for a nice fresh bread roll with corned beef and mustard pickles I think.....

Well its the weekend - and oh my god it is soooo hot today! They forecasted 35 degrees but it is definitely hotter than that. Got in my car to pick mum up from work and it said the outside temperature was 41 degrees... insane!! Sashie is soo hot the poor thing, I have been getting wet towels and wiping them over her chest to try and keep her cool. There's a bit of a breeze starting now which is making it alot better. Thank goodness I have tomorrow off, think I'll need it to recover from the heat of today lol Might have a nana nap soon I think.... doing the launch at work this morning was really tiring and I guess being up since 5:30am too might have something to do with it. Early night tonight I feel... Anyways off to go and relax.....

Well here I am again - another Friday, woohoo! Busy day planned today actually. Hair dresser this morning at 9:30am, meeting L for lunch then have a facial this afternoon at 2:45pm. Weather is awesome this morning, apparently supposed to be 34 degrees today, I hope so I will be able to get in the pool again. I also have to schedule some time to learn the new choreography for the Body Pump and RPM launch tomorrow morning, havent learnt any of my tracks yet, doh!! Ahh well I might do an hour on the treadmill, thats always the easiest way I find to learn em. Had another massage yesterday as Wednesday I had the most horrible pain in my back all afternoon. Was like a stitch but in my back, sooo uncomfortable. At times, it would make me keel over... not nice! I just put it down to ligament pain or gas pains.... quite common around the 15-16 week mark apparently from what I have read. I came home wednesday night and put a heat pack on it which helped alot. Had a decent night sleep too and woke up yesterday feeling ok. Probably just gonna be one of those things that comes and then goes and is going to get worse as I get bigger lol
Oh and I did the funniest thing the other day. Thought I would share to humor you all. This will definitely make ya laugh and is probably on the list of being one of the dumbest things I have ever done!
I decided to make apricot chicken for Troy to take to work as he is on 12-8pm shifts all this week. So cooked the chicken, added the onion and made up the Maggi sachet with apricot nectar and the juice of some tinned apricots. Turned the element off thinking it would be fine just simmering away on the stove top and put the lid on.... bad idea that was! I went away and did 30 minutes on the treadmill... came back to check on it and to take it outta the fry pan and put it into a storage container... guess what happened - the lid had sucked on! Not happy jan! It smelt so good too..... boy was I pi***ed off. So here I am in the kitchen trying to think of ways to try and get this damn lid off. I tried turning it upside down and banging on the base of it with a hammer, nup that didnt work! I tried putting the base of the fry pan in water to cool it down, nup that didnt work either.... in the end I ran outta time (as I had to start work at 12) so had to leave it upside down in the fridge with a big bowl underneath it. I left mum a note saying "I have made apricot chicken, its in the fridge, good luck in getting the lid off, may the force be with you" hahaha
I rang later on that night about 7pm and asked mum whether they had manage to save it but yeah dad ended up having to drill a hole in the lid to get the damn thing off haha..... Mum said it was alright but said she would feed it to the dogs just to be on the safe side.... so at least the dogs enjoyed it and got a gourmet meal outta it. Remind me not to leave a lid on a fry pan next time, I couldnt believe it! Anyways in saying that I think this entry is long enough.... off to have some toast I think

Well here we are middle of another month - by golly its moving a bit quick isnt it? Sorry for my slackness in not posting much nowdays. Thought it was about time to get back here to post about how my first Obstetrician appointment went on Monday. Met Dr Trueman for the first time, seems like a nice guy, very laid back so dont think I will have any dramas with him. He went through all my history, took my height, weight etc had a feel of my stomach and I got to hear 'snooks' heartrate again - it's still strong as 157 bpm..... go snooks! So I have the admission forms for hospital now too, just gotta fill them in and post them back. Next appointment with Trueman is the 28th March after the next scan. Will see him every four weeks up until the 30 week mark I think then it goes to every 2 weeks then once I get to 36 weeks it is every week. On another note I am becoming slightly addicted to EBAY lol I went online one day last week to check out some stuff after a friend told me she brought alot of her daughters stuff off EBAY. Came across a few things I thought were really cute so I thought 'what the heck I will bid on them' and guess what I won them lol One was three PINK romper suits so snooks better be a girl haha but I just couldnt resist i ended up winning the three of them for $8 !!! They arrived in the post yesterday and they are in such excellent condition, I was very pleased with them! I have also bidded on and won two pairs of 3/4 cargo maternity pants so I think that will do me for now. Just got stay away from that site otherwise I can see it will be highly dangerous lol Anyways must go and find something to eat.... milk and raisin toast I think this morning

Well hello again been a while since I posted, just been busy. Went out for dinner last night for Valentines Day. Had dinner at 'Vie' at Versace; beautiful meal as always. Opted for a different dish for a change. Had salmon - it was unreal! It came in this vanilla bisque with chat potatoes, baby carrots and asparagus, yum! Not alot planned today - washing and a bit of housework to do first thing this morning then am planning to go to Pac Fair to pick up the fisher price swing from Target I put on layby. Catching up with Y too for lunch no doubt. She is doing a few things in Broady so we are gonna meet there. Troy has this weekend off so we are making a start on snooks' room. The spare beds are coming out and we're just going to give it a good clean. The wardrobe at the moment is full of stuff so all that stuff will have to come out and we'll have to find another home for it, dunno where but yeah I just want that room empty so I can start putting all the baby stuff in there. Of course the treadmill is staying in there until troy sorts out the front computer room. He has two days so should be plenty of time hehe *grins* I got a catalogue in the mail the other day from Big W - 95% of it was all baby related. They have huggies nappies on special for $29 so am going to pick up another box of newborns i think lol might as well while they are at that price! Anyways tummy is grumbling, not sure what to have for brekky yet. A friend of mine I was talking to on MSN before mentioned an omelette which I thought would be nice but I dont have much to put in it. Might have to opt for french toast lol

Well another day down, pretty boring day actually. Was glad to finally finish work at 2:00pm. Decided to stop in at a new baby store I found that has just opened up at Mermaid Beach to have a look at a cot and change table set I found on ebay last night. It is the'Bertini' Brand -Renaissance model. It is made from solid NZ Pine so no wonder its good hehe, is very nice so now all I have to do is decide whether to go with the Walnut colour or white. I am thinking Walnut at this stage as if we choose that colour we wont have to repaint the walls of the nursery.... ahhh well will have to drag DH in one day to get his approval. Knowing my luck he will say "no I dont like it" It is a very good price - $649 for the cot and change table, well i thought was a good price anyways!
Also booked our 19 week scan today at QLD ultrasound for women in southport. i was sooooo lucky to get the appointment I did; there had been a cancellation so of course I snapped it up very quickly; so appointment is Thursday 20th March at 10am.
I have well and truly hit the 2nd trimester - have had major hot flushes on and off the past two days and my feet OMG they are so hot!! The other night I was sitting watching tv with my feet in my foot spa that was filled with cold water and I even had to get DH to get some ice.... seriously strange! Had a major urge for salt and vinegar Smith chips this afternoon so drove to the shops and got two small bags lol Had a yummy chicken kiev for dinner tonight with coleslaw. Have come to the conclusion snooks doesnt like mouthwash. Went to rinse my mouth yesterday morning, put my head back but instantly gagged and spewed it back up haha Anyways off to chill out and watch some tele
