Well its Saturday..... went to Pre-Natal Yoga this morning, class was excellent so will continue to go each saturday morning hopefully right up until I have the baby.  Felt so relaxed and just in a different frame of mind walking out, strange feeling but very good and best of all its only $3 a class - bargain!!!

Its so hot here at the moment - all i want to do is just sit and blob, which is probably what I will do for the afternoon lol             I can feel a power nap coming on very soon!

Having roast pork for dinner with heaps of vege - kumara, potatoes, pumpkin and broccoli and mum is making an apple sponge for pudding.... yum!

Anyways thats it from me for now.... might have a swim?

Well finally I can post.  Sorry for delay in doing this entry regarding how the scan went.  Have had a busy past two days between having it done and my rostered hours at work, doctors appointment etc.  Have just been too buggered!

Ok first things first - our ultrasound on Wednesday was great, all is good!  Although I didnt get to see 'snooks' in real time Troy was saying "she"  (I am now convinced snooks is a girl) was moving around all over the place.  First thing the sonographer said when he put the doppler to my tummy "theres the heart pumping away nicely"... phew!  

Troy was like "oh wow" and his eyes starting tearing up hehe  All I could do was sit and watch his reactions as the sonographer did all the routine measurements they need to do. 

It would of been nice to see snooks for myself in real time but ahhh well I have the Obstetrician's appointment coming up on the 18th of Feb so I am sure I will get a chance then.  So I am now officially in the second trimester, scary!   I am going to try and post more pictures from the film but yeah there is probably only another one or two which are worth posting.

We are both very pleased with how high my ratios were!

So on the countdown we go now to see the Obstetrician.  I went back to my doctor yesterday to get the referral.  As I was leaving as he said "well good luck with everything" and "I was kinda like oh yeah I wont see you now" and he said "no you wont as Dr Trueman will take care of you from now on".  I love my doctor so was kinda sad to think that the next time I see him might not be until after the baby is born lol   and best of all he bulk billed me again, YAY!!  Love ya work doc!   Usually we have to pay $60 so I was happy!

Have a fairly busy day planned today.  Have some housework to do first thing then I am off for a massage at 11am for an hour then am meeting up with a friend for lunch.  Troy has the day off so might check out what's on at the movies and go later this afternoon?

I start Yoga in the morning at Mermaid Beach - $3 per class, bargain!!  Which reminds me I have to buy a Yoga mat when I am out today and more Blackmores vitamins.  Will have to write these things down as now if I dont I forget, I soooo have baby brain!

Have just made brekky, sweet corn on toast - seems to be the flavour at the month.  Have woken up the past two mornings wanting it.  French toast is still high on the favourite things to have for brekky though too  hehe

Anyways must get crackin'  I at least have the washing all done.  Did that last night and hung it out so thats one less job to do today.  Thank goodness the rain held out.  Gonna be another nice day today, might get in the pool later and do some more aqua exercises.

Just a quick one from me today;  have just woken up from having an hour and a half snooze - feel completely shattered today!  Have this bizzare 'lost the plot' kinda feeling, real weird!

Troy is home soon, finishes at 4:00pm so I will get him to cook us probably no doubt BUY dinner although I'm not that hungry.  Might just have a salad I think with some chicken?

Well can almost start counting down the hours until our ultrasound;  41 hours I just worked out lol then back to see my doctor on Thursday afternoon.  First Obstetrician's appointment is booked for the 18th February so this month is quite a busy one

Well what a busy day today!  Went to QML at 9:30am this morning and had my blood taken.  The lady was so quick, I was very surprised usually they take ages to find my veins so I was happy!

Troy and I then went to the Cheesecake Shop and brought a Caramel Mudcake to take to P and Y's place tonight for our bbq dinner... yum!  I also have just finished making mashed potato with cream cheese and onion through it..... my favourite!  Hopefully P & Y will like it lol

On the way home Troy and I stopped into BIG DAD's PIES and each had a pie;  Troy had a chicken and vegetable one and I had a steak, bacon and cheese one.... oh my goodness they are the nicest pies!!!  I havent had a pie like that in ages!!!  Probably a dangerous thing now as it is on route to work... OH NO!!!  

Mum was telling me that my aunty Bronwyn had an obsession with pies when she was pregnant with my two cousins.  Something I will just have to try and control I guess.  We also got a piece of Cherry Ripe slice .... oh my god that was nice too!  haha

Have been in the pool twice today, it has been so hot.  Our thermometer says the water is 30 DEGREES!!! lol   I noticed before when I got outta the shower I am a little sunburnt.... doh!  that'll teach me for not putting any sunblock on, ahh well its not that bad!

I start a new week tomorrow - I hit the TWELVE week mark, hoorah!!!   Wow then I can say I am in the SECOND trimester, scary!

Anyways gotta go and get organised to go out....

Well welcome to the second day of February!  Boy arent the days going quick!  

I woke up at 5:15 this morning, hungry as usual lol so decided I would do an entry as I have been a bit slack lately.  Typed this long entry, went to post it and then lost the wireless connection on my laptop.  As you could probably imagine, I was not happy!  

So here is my 2nd attempt to recall what I just wrote. Hmmmm have to think hard now as to what I wrote before.

Had a busy day yesterday.  Went to Aqua in the morning, then home for a shower then out to Robina Town Centre to do some shopping.  Came home for lunch then went to Y's place in the afternoon.  She has her own 'doppler'  (machine to detect baby's heartbeat) so we decided to try and see whether it would work on me.   So here I am lying in her lounge with gel on my tummy, pushing down on my stomach with this weird contraption.  It didnt take us long to find a 'wooshing' sound but she said that wasnt it.   Apparently there is a difference between what is my heart beat and what is the baby's.   So I persevered for another 5 minutes or so and hoorah... we found it!   It was measuring 152 beats per minute so that has now kept me happy until Wednesday - "THE BIG DAY"

Troy and I are heading out to QML this morning to get this blood test out of the way.  I have been trying hard to drink a little extra water this morning as taking blood off me is 'torture' they always struggle to find my veins so I am hoping the extra fluid will help to pump em up hehe

Have to go shopping after that, get some food for a BBQ we are going to tonight at Y's place then I think we will just be chillin at home - the day is nice again so no doubt we will be using the pool.

I brought our first box of HUGGIES nappies yesterday!   Yeah, yeah you are probably thinking - why so early?  But Woolworths had them for $29...... $12 off what they are normally and of course I couldnt resist so we now have a box of 108 disposable diapers lol

Anyways have to go and make some brekky;  have been sipping on a fresh glass of pineapple juice and I think all the Vitamin C is starting to not agree with my stomach being empty so French Toast here I come again!!!   yum

Well another month started, and one month further along... geez it will be August before I know it!  I cant believe that on Sunday I will twelve weeks, where has the time gone?

Anyways today is Friday, hooorah!  Day off.  I am off to do Aqua at Pizzey Park this morning - class is at 9:15am then I am going to Y's place later for lunch.

Not alot to report this week bar that there is only 5 more sleeps until our ultrasound.... so excited!  I am going to get my bloods done tomorrow instead of today.

Anyways I am off to cook french toast for brekky .... starving!

Well today was just a lazy day;  didnt end up going to the movies as mum was wanting to use some vouchers she had got from work but of course the movie was an 'NFT' .... doh!!

So Troy and I had a swim about 11am then decided to go and get fish n chips from Petes at Main Beach and eat em down at the Spit so I packed up our little picnic bag which has everything in it - plates, glasses, cutlery plus a blankets and towels and off we went. 

It has been such a nice day today but VERY hot - at one stage the car said the outside temp was 33 degrees!  So yeah you can imagine we didnt spend long outside. Stopped in at Broadbeach to get Gelati on the way home - yum!

Back to work tomorrow, ugh!  However its good as its TUESDAY although I kept thinking today was sunday lol

Am going to ring QML tomorrow (lab where I am getting blood tests done) and ask them if they think I should come in on thursday or friday.  I cant believe we are just over a week away from the next scan, YAY getting so excited!  Hopefully we will see alot more as the last one I found a bit of a let down!

Anyways off to watch a bit of tele and chill out with Troy and Sashie
