First Day Home

Today the Doctor who came to check on me said if I wanted she could discharge me today. Tito had left to go home to make sure Oscar (the Cockatiel) was OK and tio make sure the roofing material had been delivered. I called him and he said yes tell them yes!!! He returned to the city and we waited to be discharged. The first car ride with Gabriel was so scary and exciting all at the same time. Scary to have him in the car and also scary to know that we were on our own with him. It was exciting because bringing him home was what we had always dreamed of.
When we arrived at home. Tito videotaped us walking to the house and in to the house. We laid him down on our bed and he just looked around. The joy we felt to finally have him home with us was just ...... no word can explain it!!!
