| Gavin went to South Carolina and spent 18 hours in the car to get there! He was a champ!!!

| Gavin went to stay at his Nana's house. He did a great job and even slept through the night!!!!

| Gavin's first time rolling over was on 10/13/2008 |
| Yes, Gavin rolled over from his back to his stomach!!!!! Every morning he tends to roll from his stomach to his back, he gives me a scream of delight and coo's until i wake up, little ham. But yestarday was the first time he actually rolled from his back to his stomach, it was a big deal and we were very excited!

| Yup, this morning I actually heard an actual giggle and it was during something fun. I was tickling him and bouncing him on the bed when I heard it over and over again. Before it was sporadic and almost a grunt. Now it was a full fledged giggle!!! Wahooo!

| We are hoping his eyes do not change, but every time we look they are getting darker and darker blue until I am sure they become brown

| Gavins nana made him this blanket with frogs on it, I am sure he does not know what a frog is, but they are all brightly colored and he will smile and coo at this blanket for at least a half an hour. He sleeps with this blanket and takes it to daycare with him. It will be his security blanket I am sure, he just loves his frog blanket!!!

| Gavin will coo at his feet!!! We put footie pajamas on him with dogs or animals on his feet and he will smile, coo and scream at his feet for ages. He loves his feet, even though his feet look like his daddies.

| I consider sleeping from 9-4am sleeping through the night. Gavin went from getting up every 3-4 hours to sleeping pretty much 7 hours straight with a few times awake to have me put his paci in. He is such a champ and we are in a MUCH better mood because of the extended sleep time

| It seemed like overnight Gavin learned he had hands he could suck on and bite. He grunts like a pig when they are in his mouth and he starts drooling all over himself. It never fails, when he is hungry, tired or angry those hands will go straight for his mouth!!

| Gavin's first smile was on 08/27/2008 |
| Gavin smiled early, everyone kept saying it was gas, I knew better! He didn't actually get a real smile that made his face light up and his eyes shine until a few weeks later, but now he is smiling allll the time. In the morning he will wake up and give me a big smile, and when he is playing his face will just light up and show these big dimples on his cheeks. I swear he is the most happy baby I have ever seen. Of course he is mine, so he will be happy all the time!!!!

| We had to wait for Gavin to loose his umbilical cord before we could put him in a bath. He hated it for the first few times, but then after that he LOVES his bath. He looks forward to it every night. We have a duck with cow spots on it we call Mack and he loves talking to him and smiling at his duck. Its our favorite part of the night!!!
