To my dear friend Danielle,
Everything that you are feeling right now is totally normal, all the worries, the fears, and anticipation, every mother goes through those same emotions. I want you to know that you are a wonderful, responsible, caring person. You are going to make a fabulous mother, one who will give all her love to this new life that is about to begin. Jeff is going to be right along side you, helping, caring, and loving the both of you.
Yes, it is very hard work, and you won't always know why the baby is crying, but you have eachother to lean on, and even when it does get tough, know that family and friends are also there for you, so use us. No parent is perfect at this, and it all doesn't come naturally. So much is learned as you go, and mistakes will be made, but so what! We are human, and so are our children. We are put on this planet to love, learn, and have some fun along the way.
I'm so excited for the both of you, and your families. This is such a wonderful time, let the fun begin! |
