This week has been a very busy week for Nathanial. On Monday we went on a double date with Karen and Abigail and Anne Marie and Peyton.  We went to see Step up at the Promenade. It was a lot of fun. We did a little bit of shopping as well.

Monday night Nathanial slept in his crib in his own room for the first time. He did really well, he cried once in the middle of the night, he was probably wanting to make sure we were still there.

Wednesday Nathanial had his first cold, luckily we caught it in time, we put a humidifier in his room and he slept so well, he slept 10 hours.

Today we were playing on the bed with some toy blocks and he started to grab and hold them.

Yesterday Jeff and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary with Nathanial. Jeff came to our music class and Nathanial was so good he started tapping the drum by himself and holding the shaker as well. After class we came home and rested and then went to have pictures done.

In the evening Grandma and Sabba (Grandpa) came and babysat while we went out for dinner. Nathanial was so good and I only called home once.

This week Nathanial has given up wanting to sit or be held he wants to stand. He loves standing on our laps on the floor and in his friends excersaucer. So what did mommy do....mommy went out and bought Nathanial his own excersaucer. He is big for his age, we went to a party last night and a friend of ours nephew is 4 months and is the same size as Nathanial.

Nathanial loves to be outdoors and seeing whats going on, he is very alert and has been since he was born. I think his motto is why sleep when there is so much going on. He still goes down for his naps in the morning and afternoon many times they are cat naps.

This week is the last week of our kindermusic and stroller fit and we are looking into fall programs for him.

This past weekend Nathanial, Jeff and I went up to our friends cottage. Nathanial loved being out of the city and enjoyed spending time with mommy and daddy. He was so well behaved, he hardly cried..only when hungry and tired. He smiled a lot and loved looking at the water.

Today Nathanial and I went to Movies for Mommys we went with our friends Karen and Abigail. Nathanial and Abigail were very well behaved at the movies. Nathanial was up for most of the movie sitting on my lap with his eyes wide open looking at all the action. He was so good.

It was a great experience and I finally got to see Johnny Depp in action.

On July 31, Nathanial went for his needles. He did so well and was very brave, a lot braver then his mommy. He cried for about a minute and then was fine. He slept most of the evening. We don't have to worry about needles until October.

Nathanial is 2 months old today which means my son goes for his 2 month shots tomorrow. I am terrified and have my husband off work so he will be taking him. I can't handle that part, I hate needles myself let alone watch my son go through it.  I know if will hurt for 2 minutes but for me hearing my son cry in pain hurts me too to much.

On Sunday Nathanial will be 2 months, I have no idea where the time has gone. He is so big and adorable. I can't stop looking at him, he smiles now, can hold his head up for short times, tries to talk and is starting to have a personality. He gets frustrated easily when he tries things and can't do it. He tries to crawl when he is on his tummy time mat. He loves going for car rides and loves loves his music class. He loves listening to music and looking at pictures.

I can't wait for what the next month of new beginnings brings
