I can't believe that Nathanial will be 2 months old next week. He has accomplished so muc in his short life.  He loves music, listening to stories, going for walks, swimming and playing on his mat. He know smiles so much and has started sleeping through the night. He goes for his two month shots which I am worried about, Jeff will be taking him because I can't handle my own needles but to hear him cry in pain, I am not ready for.

This weekend with the extreme heat, we went to our cousin Risa and Joes and used the pool. Nathanial was ver excited to be in his swimming trunks and in the water. He smiled as he floated in his toy turtle..he was so comfortable and excited that he fell asleep.

Yesterday Nathanial and I started stroller fit. It was a lot of fun and a great workout, we did a lot of cardio, some yoga and next week we start doing some ab work. At the end we play with a parachute and sing songs with the babies. Nathanial slept for the whole thing but it was nice to have some place to go and to be outside.

Yesterday Nathanial went to his doctors appointment and he weighs 10pds 11oz..he is gaining weight at a good rate..and I was worried I was not producing enough.

I was also able to pump enough for two bottles so Jeff will be feeding for the first time tonight. He is looking forward to that and so am I.

He is starting to smile, coo and he has rolled over.

Nathanial is 4 weeks old today, I can't believe how time flies. He is so special, we love all the sounds that he makes and the faces that he makes when sleeping, strecthing and awake.

His Daddy is very good with him, changing diapers, bathing him, he even sings and dances with him which is really cute.

Nathanial has been a source of pride and happiness to Jeff and I and we can't wait for what the next month will bring and the new things we find about our son.

I can't believe that Nathanial is 3 weeks old. He has brought such joy to us. I couldn't imagine my life without him in it.

He makes the most fantastic faces and makes us laugh all the time.

When I was pregnant I was asked about my feelings about breastfeeding in public. I had said I didn't feel it was appropriate to do it in the middle of the mall, or restaurant but yesterday I had  a dilema. Nathanial and I were having lunch and he woke up and was hungry. I went to the washroom to feed him and there was no where to sit, or even to change him. I went back to the booth got out my breastfeeding blanket and fed him at the table. Of course my mother and her friend didn't care but I had to feed my son. Luckily we were in a booth at the back of the restaurant so there wasn't anyone really around.

I am still have my thoughts on breastfeeding in public but I had changed some of my perception due to being in the situation I was in.

The other day we were in the mall and he woke up, I went to the GAP and asked to use one of their change rooms, the lady made sure I had the big room with the bench in it so I could feed.

All I can say is do not use the special rooms in the Promenade as they are dirty and smelly. Change room was much better.
