Today Nathanial and I had a busy day we went out for lunch with Grandma and Susan and then we went to visit daddy at work. Nathanial was such a hit that what was supossed to be a short visit turned out to be a long one with everyone wanting to see him. Of course my little sleep a holic slept through most of the visit. We then went to Fairview and bought daddy and his 2 grandpas a fathers day gift. What a day and he was so good
Comments (0) 13/06/2006 I can't believe that 2 weeks ago I gave birth to Nathanial. He is such a beautiful baby, so good. He sleeps 4 hours through the night. He hardly cries and he loves being held by his mommy and daddy.

Nathanial was named today at his Bris. Mommy had a hard time but got through it ok. Daddy was so proud and so happy. His full english name is Nathanial Theodore Glucksman. Nathanial means gift from G-d in hebrew and Theodore means the same in Greek. We picked the name Nathanial because we really liked it and Theodore is after my Maternal Grandfather. His Hebrew name is Naftali Chaim. Naftali is after Jeffs paternal grandfather and Chaim is after my Dads brother. Comments (0) 03/06/2006 On Monday May 29th at 2:30 am I awoke with cramps, had labor begun? I went to the Dr at 10:00 am and was 2 cm dilated...We went to dinner with my parents as it was my dad’s birthday. At 9pm I couldn't stand the pain and went to the hospital, I was only 3 cm dilated, so I was sent home. By 2:30am May 30th I was in too much pain and we went again to the hospital...again only 3cm dilated. But I was admitted. I had the epidural and was fine for most of the day. The Dr came in at 9am and I was the same so he broke my water and the games began. At 11am I was 5 cm, 3pm 8cm and by 5pm I was 10 cm. I didn't start pushing until 7pm and at 8:26pm my son was born...weighing 8 pounds and 15 ounces. The loss of sleep and the sore boobs are all worth it, he is such a prince. I couldn't see him not in my life. He has added an element that I could not think possible. Jeff is great with him, bathing him and changing diapers. He is so cute when he sings or reads to him. Since Nathanial is the first born boy on Thursday he has a Pidyon Ha'Ben which is a Jewish custom. Comments (0) 25/05/2006
Well as the due date fast approaches there is no movement which means that this little one will be a late one. Unless something happens in the next 72 hours. Which I am not expecting, Anyways all I am doing is watching the tummy move around and dealing with Braxton Hicks. Till next time
Comments (0) 17/05/2006 Well as I am in the midst of my mat leave I am enjoying my time. I have had lunch with my mom, hired a cleaning lady who is amazing and just doing things at my pace. Last night I thought maybe our little one was starting to get a move on but it was false alarms..which he seems to like to do..He has a sense of humor like his dad. Comments (0) |
