Grace did the cutest thing yesterday. We went to go visit Daddy at work on the way home from day care. One of the girls who works with Daddy at the store gave Grace a bag of M&Ms. When we were getting ready to leave, I told Grace to "give kisses". Instead of giving kisses to all her friends at Daddy's store, she leaned down and kissed the M&M in her hand, right before popping it in her mouth! ADORABLE!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Mommy got me an adorable outfit with hearts on it and a tshirt that says "Flirt"!  HAHAHAHA.  Daddy got me the softest stuffed puppy dog.  What a great day.  My grandma, Marmie, is going to come over tonight to play until my mom and dad get home from work....I cant wait cause I get spoiled rotten when she comes to my house!

I love you!

It snowed this weekend; 10 inches!!!  The snow really hit us hard; no power at the house all day on Sunday, glass top on the patio table shattered, and a 30 foot tree limb fell into the pool!  After the tree and table were cleaned up, we got Grace all dressed up in her pink snowsuit and took her outside for some sledding and playing all day on Sunday.  At first, she did not like the snow at all.  It was cold and it was so deep that she couldnt walk in it.  After a few trips in the snow, she got the hang of it.  Grace helped make a snowman, learned how to throw a snowball, and found a new favorite snack--SNOW!  It was a blast to play in the snow with her and I cant wait to get out there again today!

Grace has mixed feelings about the bathtub. She scream and cries when you put her in the tub. About 3 minutes later, she is laughing and splashing and playing with all her toys in there.

Last night was no different. Bill and I let her play in the tub for 10 minutes or so after she was all clean. I put bubbles in her bath in an attempt to minimize the intital crying. When it was time to get out, she cried again because she really wanted to stay and play with all the duckies and froggies in the tub. Bill took her to her room and got her all ready for bed. She had on her adorable Winne the Pooh footie pjs when she came back in the bathroom to find me. Well, apparently she wanted back in the tub because, fully dressed, she walked right over to the tub (that had not been emptyed yet) and put her fully dressed foot back in the water!!! I took her out of the tub, yet again, and there she stood in the bathroom, fully dressed in her footies pjs with one fleece footies soaking wet!!!

Oh how kids will make you laugh!

Grace is the flower girl in her Aunt Meghan's wedding.   We went shopping last weekend for a flower girl dress; we found the dress after only 10 minutes in the store.  Grace loved trying on all the pretty dresses and was the hit of the store.  Granted, Mom was about to faint at the price tags!  The dresses in her size cannot use more than 3 yards of fabric total and they are charging $135!  Ridiculous.  BONUS:  I found the same dress for $30 elsewhere!  I have to give credit to my friend Jenna for that bargain.  With a little hemming from Grandma Terry, it will be a perfect dress for my little flower girl.  Some pictures of the day are posted in the pictures section but I am not telling which dress we chose!  You will just have to wait until May to find out!

Okay, so I have not been very good at updating this site BUT I am back and promise to keep it updated from now on!  Instead of trying to fill in all the details on Miss Grace that we missed on this website, I am just going to pick up with what is going on now.

Grace had a dr appt today---we missed her 18 mth appt so today, at 21 1/2 months, we finally got to see the doctor.  Grace's stats:  27 lbs, 35.5 inches.  Dr said she is way ahead of herself in language skills and that she is doing perfectly on development.  Well, I could have told you that! :)  He also said that since she is starting to show interest, now is the time to buy the child training potty and let her "explore" it.  WHOA--I am not sure I am ready for all of that yet.  But we will follow the dr's orders and Grace's lead.

Check out the new pics---there are some very recent ones and also some from the last few months that I have been MIA on this site!

My mom started a new job today...very exciting for her. This weekend was so busy for a little baby. I went with Aunt Meghan and Uncle Chris to the wedding site; it is so pretty. I need to start practicing how to walk on the grass so I can be the flower girl in May. I am so excited! I also went to my cousin Allison's birthday party. She is so much fun and she let me help her open her presents! Mom and Dad are burning lots of calories now; no more crawling. I have mastered this walking thing and love it! I do it all the time now!

This weekend was the first weekend in months that all I had to do was play; Mommy and Daddy didnt have anything planned. It was so much fun! Mom and I went shopping and on Sunday, we went to Marmie and Papa's house to celebrate Marmie's birthday. We had a crabfest on the back deck! It was so much fun until I stuffed a handful of Old Bay seasoning in my mouth; wow, that was spicy stuff! Mommy took pictures of course. I am walking all over the place and talking all the time too! By the end of the summer, I will be able to run! My canine teeth are starting to come in now. I am such an over acheiver; they aren't supposed to come in until @ 18 months old and I am only 15 months old! :)
