Hey there everyone! I didn't realize it had been so long! We've been so busy with, well, life!! So now to find where to begin!

Let's see here...Well, Benjamin has 2 teeth! He got the second one yesterday..just enough poked through that you can feel it now. He is a mover and a shaker that's for sure! He wants to be everywhere all the time! He has started getting onto his hands and knees and thinking about moving....and oh when he does!! We had better watch out cause he will be GONE!!! He said Dada last night! WOO HOO! Just in time for Jamie to come home for leave!!

We are VERY excited about him coming home!! He has been doing really good over there, but I tell ya, it's been long enough! This has by far been THE hardest deployment.

Makayla turned 7 on the 4th of June! She had a wonderful birthday party yesterday (the 7th). Nothing beats cake, ice cream, and good friends!!

Cera has been doing softball! Woo hoo what a season!! They made it to the championships!! So we'll see how that goes on Tuesday the 10th.

Otherwise we have simply been hangin out! One of the reasons I haven't posted much on here is because we have a new website for the entire family! Please come check it out!

Hey there! Let's see where oh where to begin!

Ben had his 4 month Dr's visit today, the fun facts shows his weight and height...he is right on track! He is getting better and better at sitting up on his own, he LOVES to smile and giggle, he LOVES to chew on his toys and boy does he drool!! He is starting to make the ga, ba, da sounds which the kids just love! He is an all around joy!!

On a side note, Alex and Cera just started their soccer season and are having a great time with that. Makayla and Xavier are ready for T-ball so that they have something to do!! Jamie is doing well. Please make sure to drop him a line or two...his address is a couple journal entries down... he would love it!

Ahh well, my time it has been decided is up! Must tend the baby!

Hey there! Been awhile!

Let's see news from us....not much to say really. The kids have been hard at school work, which means I am hard at school work! Ben is doing wonderful! He is 4 months old now...no I can't believe it either! He is such a happy baby!

He is trying to sit up on his own, and does from time to time. He screams when he doesn't get his way. Which the kids think is sooo cute....give it a year, let's see how cute they think it is then! For the most part he is just a fun loving little man! He has recently found the cats...(hahaha to them, just a few more months and those silly cats will be runnin!!)

Not really much else to say, Jamie is doing well, make sure and send him a note every once in awhile, he would love that. Same for the kids and I we love letters! I am sure I will be posting more soon, as this little guy does something new everyday. Like right now for instance, he has learned that he can reach things by Mommy's computer and knock them off! What FUN!!! lol

I will write more when I can, until then take care and keep in touch!

Well I know it has been awhile since we last updated Ben's site. So I thought it was high time we did! lol

Since the last update Jamie has deployed to Iraq for his second tour. He is doing well over there. As of right now his return date is Febuary 2009. It sounds much closer now that we are in 2008!

The kids are doing well and had a GREAT Christmas! The only thing missing was their daddy!

We are dealing with sickness unfortunatly. First me..again...then Xavier, Makayla, and now Ben. It's that cough and congestion crud..you know the stuff that sounds horrible in a big kid, but even worse in a little baby.

We are getting ready to start our new school year on the 6th of this month. The kids and I are beyond ready! Should be an exciting year!

I will probably give a small update tomorrow as Ben has his 2 month check up.

Make sure and check out his pictures! He is always smiling! I didn't add many, but I will be adding more soon. I added some of the other kids, just cause well I can. lol! And cause I thought you all would enjoy seeing them too! Enjoy!

Benjamin is doing very well! He is almost back up to his original birth weight and the Dr. said he looks great! He did have to get poked again in the heel as his metabolic test came back abnormal. So they said if they don't call then it's good news...if they call then we have can worry. I pray they don't call!

He is a very alert little guy and gets TONS of attention from his siblings! Always nice when they like their brothers and sisters!!!! His next visit is at 2 months.

Jamie leaves Sunday the 11th, please keep him in your prayers. The kids are not taking it well this time...more emotional...which doesn't help when I am very emotional too at this time..(can someone say 'hormones'?! LOL)

Benjamin Josiah is here!

Just 3 short days after our Dr's appt where we scheduled our c-section! It was a day like any other, went to Cera's soccer game...ate lunch...had a couple really good contractions...nothing new. The Dr. had told us anything more than 4 contractions in 1 hour that we were to go in and get checked out. Well, I figured if I started walking and they got stronger then we would go in. So we headed off to the PX to look for a camera. Had lots of contractions, but nothing worth paying attention to. I started feeling really sick (not going to make you live through the gore of all that!) so Jamie said let's go in. I have been battling morning sickness the entire pregnancy, but this was more than usual. So off we went to the labor and delivery wing of the hospital. I told the nurse what was going on and noticed that on the clip board where they write down what is happening with each woman she wrote LABOR. Just like that...all caps! Course we had informed her that this was our 5th baby so I am thinking she figured we knew what we were talking about!

About 5 minutes later the Dr on call came in to check me. We told him awe had a c-section date scheduled. After he checked he looked at us and said you're having a baby today!!! I was dilated to 3 and 50 % effaced.

That all happened at 3:30pm. At 6:39pm Benjamin arrived!!!! Jamie and I were still in shock! He looks just like Xavier!

I have had a few problems since he was born, the first night I stopped breathing for a bit and had to be put on oxygen. Also, I developed a fever and throwing up. (Not fun!) I am currently getting over pneumonia (we were surprised to find out that's what it was, as we thought it was an infection of the uterus or a bladder infection.) So because of that, I had been very tired and had full body aches and all that good stuff you get when really sick. I am doing better now and thankfully Ben never had any problems! I will try to post more pictures as I can.

Howdy All! Well it was one of the longest appt's ever, but worth it as we have a c-section date! Oct 30th! (If not sooner) We are thrilled to have a day! Jamie will have time afterward to be with us before he flies so that makes it all even more worth it!  His heartrate was in the 160's as usual, and the Dr said his head is nice and down..(I coulda told him that one though!lol!) So my next appt is the 24th where we will be doing all the pre-op paperwork and all that goes with it.

Not a very long update, but exciting for us none the less! I can't believe we are down to 2 WEEKS!!!!!!! Ok, I am breathing slow deep breaths..calm thoughts..LOL!!! I am just on cloud nine!

I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU! To Jennifer and Shaun for the Wonderful baby shower they had for the baby and I!!!! It was SO much fun! I loved the diaper cake! (and the 'real' cake!) We got Awesome gifts that were much needed! Thank you to everyone! It they will come in SO handy! I think it is safe to say that now all we need is the baby!
