34 Week Dr. Appt.
posted on 09/26/2007

Hello All!

So went to my 34 week Dr's appt this morning. Everything seems to be going just fine. Baby was moving like crazy and heartbeat sounded wonderful!!! Can't believe how quickly this pregnancy is going! I do think that he has dropped...maybe not fully, but he definitely is lower than what he was. Makes me waddle all the more cause his head is so in my pelvis! I can breath much better though! So that is a nice perk! My morning sickness has decided to take over...full force! UGH! I can say that this has been the best pregnancy when it comes to morning sickness management, but now it is just horrible again. Ah well, just a few more weeks!!

Really nothing else to report, Soccer is going in full swing now, so that means all our week nights and Sat. mornings are soccer filled! Cera got her braces yesterday, and also had her first soccer game. May I just say it was AWESOME!!!! They did GREAT! Tired me out watching them do all that running though! Kayla has her first game tonight and then Xavier, Kayla, and Cera all have games Thurs. Other than that we are just busy with getting things ready for baby, Jamie leaving, and school. Along with all the other things that go on with life! So can one say hectic!?

Hope everyone is doing well!

Hello all!!! Just got back from my Dr's appt...our first meeting with the surgeon. He even did an ultrasound!! WOO HOO! He said baby's heartrate was 159 and asked what we were having, we said  a boy and he said well shall we still if it still is? I said of course!!!!!!!! And guess what?? It still is! LOL

I asked him about when we could schedule and he said we would look at that soon, but that by hospital regs it wouldn't be until 39 weeks. Sooo, oh well on that one. He was really nice though and I asked if I would be coming every two weeks for appts. and he said that he could do that. So now the updates will be every 2 weeks and ya'll know that makes it all go faster!!!

The kids started soccer and so we have practices everyday but Fri and Sun. Needless to say we are busy! Which is good cause it is making things go faster. I am kinda at that SO ready to meet this little guy that I am counting down the days, but knowing that Jamie is leaving 7 days later makes it so I don't want to count down. Ya know??? Pretty torn about that one.

Other than that I can't think of anything else. So, until the 26th of Sept....

PS - Still can't believe Cera turned 11 yesterday... what makes it harder is that on the 23rd I will be the mother of a TEENAGER!!! I don't feel old enough for that!

Gift Registry
posted on 08/28/2007

Just wanted to let you all know that I have a list of items (don't be too overwhelmed when you see it..it is long! lol) on the registry page. That way if any one happened to be wondering what we need/want it is there. I will say though that we do have the majority of our needs...so really it is just wishes.

We hope everyone is doing well...just a couple more weeks till my appt. with the surgeon...I am really hoping he will give us a definate surgery date! (Not that I expect this little one to listen to that..just would be nice to have a date to circle on the calender!)

Well again hope this finds everyone doing well..until the next appt...

'T.J.'
posted on 08/24/2007

Thought I should fill everyone in on what the 'T.J.' stands for. It is a running joke for us that stuck. Jamie and I were talking about names one day (before we knew he was a ...well he) and Jamie said what about Thor Johnson. Of course I laughed and said 'uh, no way'. To which he just kept on about how much he thought it would be great and how we could call him T.J. Needless to say everyname I presented from there on out instantly got shot down with Thor Johnson. This of course will NOT be his name, but the T.J. has stuck and there you have it!

Love ya'll

28 Week Appt
posted on 08/20/2007

Alright so here we are in the 3rd Trimester!! WOO HOO!! I know, I know I can't believe it either! My appt today was, as usual, normal. Wasn't able to get in with the midwife I was scheduled for for the 3 rd month in a row...so got to see yet ANOTHER midwife. These are ALL nice women, it's just that sometimes you want to see the person that started your care, ya know? Anywho... got my lab results back. I am anemic..and I am borderline for gestational diabetes. She said that anything 135 or over you are considered to have it...mine was 134. Personally I think it had to do with the fact that I waited there forever and a day to get my labs done (they forgot to put them in the system..how nice) anyway she said to just watch my sweets and all that...that won't be happening! Who can deny chocolate???? Also, it was brought up again that I didn't numb the last time, so she had me meet with the anesthesiologist. Nice guy, just didn't take me seriously. Said it was probably pulling and tugging that is normal during c-section. I told him that I knew what that felt like because of Kayla and that what I was feeling was NOT pulling and tugging and that my main fear is that they will do like last time and not do anything till the Dr. yells at them to do it. He said no that he wouldn't be like that, and that he thinks it was a once in a life time thing. Yeah that I got that experiance, but I am still scared thinking it can happen again. I haven't fully numbed with ANY of my labors...so why would the 5th be different? He also was so kind as to keep mentioning every 5 minutes that I hadn't really gained any weight and that was a plus. I wanted to hug the man every time he said it! Though I did notice he said it so much that the midwife kept looking at my weights in my record!!lol!

So we go back in 3 weeks so that I can meet the surgeon. We decided that we will just keep going to the surgeon as that is who will be delivering anyway (well whoever is on call that is).

Baby sounded great with a heartrate of 161! It was kinda funny cause there was a student in there and she was the one that was checking and everytime she would get it, he would move...feisty little guy that's for sure!

As for Jamie and being here..we are pretty positive that he will be. We still are waiting for the ok from the Col. They start leaving in Oct...right around when I am 37 weeks, so we are hoping with it being so close and me usually going early that they will ok it.

Other than that all is well, the older kids will be starting their fall sports next month and that should keep us busy till Nov. To think that at some point between when they start sports and when the end them there will be a new baby in the house! (Mom, that's where you will become the official chaufer!)

Ok well the book has been written, so tata for now..until next time

Hello All! Hope July is treating everyone well! Baby is doing wonderful! Good solid heartbeat and moving like crazy! They gave us a paper for Jamie's CO about my c-section date. So let's pray they let him stay for the birth. We shall see. Not really too sure when my due date really is. One person said Nov. 4th, but today they said it was the old one of the 14th. AHHH who knows. I really think it is right between the two. I also really think he will be an Oct. baby and REALLY big! I told Jamie I think he will be our biggest yet. So far Kayla has that record at 8lb 2 oz. I think this guy will beat it by a lot. Course I could be way off...we shall see

Seems like we were just finding out and here we are at almost 7 months preggers. My how time does fly doesn't it????

My next appt. will be the end of Aug., so unless something big happens between now and then I will post for that one. That will be the really fun glucose test. MMMMM lol!

Make sure and leave a comment or two..we will be printing this stuff out for 'T.J.' to have later on. (and Cera!)

Love you all

PS posted a new pic of me..it's a side view so shows a little more of my girth.lol!

BRUNSWICK — After suffering an 11-0 defeat to start the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association District 2 softball tournament, the Liberty County Recreation Department’s Mite team won two straight games Thursday before being eliminated by Douglas late Thursday afternoon.
With the Mites’ loss, the All-star softball season is finished. Baseball concluded Tuesday.
LCRD Director Jimmy Martin said he was proud to see the teams compete and it was a great spring sports season.
Wednesday, the Mites could not get anything going at the plate and had a difficult time in the field, losing 11-0 to Wayne County in three innings.
Victoria Anthony got the team’s lone hit with a bunt single in the third inning.
Wayne struck early, scoring six runs in the first inning, all with two outs.
Wayne tacked on two more runs in the second inning and three more in the third to finish the game.
The Mites, however, came back Thursday morning with a vengeance, defeating Glynn County 14-1.
That was followed with a 15-3 shellacking of Camden.
Next, Liberty County played Douglas in the quarterfinals, but the 9-and 10-year old girls fell a couple runs shy of making the semifinals, losing 13-11.
In Midget action, LC lost 13-7 to St. Simons Island Wednesday and then lost 9-2 to Wayne County Thursday to be eliminated.
The GRPA District 2 Tournament proved to be tough for Liberty County as only two teams picked up wins. The Mite softball team, coached by Jennifer Coonrod won two games and the Junior baseball team, coached by Mike Wells won a game.
