Harrison is the funniest little bubba.

He truly makes me smile every single day... even when there have been days in which I have been sure I would never smile again, Harrison makes me smile and laugh so much. I love my son to bits!!

He now says Mum... and he is so funny when he says it. He opens his mouth, with a spit bubble happening at the same time... and does a long, spit bubbled Muuuuuuuuuuuuuuum!!!

I laugh so much when I see it.

His words so far have been Hi, Dadda, Caca (either his aunty Cassie aka Caca or his Cars aka Carcars), Mum and Bubbub. 

He crawls so fast now too... it is such a funny sight to see. I put him down and he is in another room before I even realise.

We went to my Mums house to watch the Bathurst race, and mum had made some cupcakes for the bigger kids and put them on the coffee table... well, Harrison crawled up to the table, stood himself up, reached over for a cupcake, put it in his mouth and took the biggest chunk out of the side of it!!! It was hilarious to see... then then sat down and tried to eat the rest of it!!

Harrison went to the ECHC yesterday, and whilst we were there waiting, he made himself a friend named Josh, who was 8 months old... Harrison was the same size as him!!! Josh's Mum was surprised to see Harrison crawling, especially as her son had only recently started himself... Harrison and Josh were playing on the ground with Harrison's football, when a little 8 month old girl came with her Mum. Harrison stopped what he was doing to check the little girl out... actually, he didn't take his eyes off her for long!! lol

Her name was Charlize and she was a little cutie. I have decided that if I see Charlize and Josh's Mums again, I am going to try to organise a play date as they all liked being around each other yesterday.

Harrison is such a happy bubba... he smiles all the time... he doesn't like to be held by other people (much to his mummy's secret joy) and he drops his tiny little lip and starts to cry when other people are holding him (sorry Nanna)

But, it doesn't take him long to start to smile again... or giggle... he finds James and Madeleine soooo amusing. I love that when he wakes in the mornings, he is usually found taking away to himself and smiling at us through the slat bars on his cot. 

He is such a spunky bubba!!! 

Harrison's favourite song is Twinkle Twinkle little star... and we do the actions that go along with it every time we sing it to him.

Over the last few days, Harrison has started to put his thumb and pointer finger up to make his half of the "diamond in the sky" !!!

It is so cute to see!!! He does it all the time now when we sing to him.

Also, every time Rob takes Harrison's nappy off, Harrison starts to blow raspberries... it is his little way of letting us know he wants us to blow raspberries on his tummy.

Smart bubba!!! 

Well, over the past month, Harrison has gained over a kilo!! This is so very exciting for Rob and I as we were starting to worry that something more was going on.

I kinda knew that it was just the way Harrison is built... he is a lot like his Daddy... Tall and skinny!!

But, it was really very disheartening when out in public and people would comment on how little his is, or ask me if he was born prematurely. I am not usually one to let others comments/opinions get to me, but I was feeling like a failure because of his lack of weight gain as it was, these innocent enough comments just hurt so bad.

I know that no one means to say the wrong thing... So, I have decided that I will NEVER comment on a baby's size etc ever again... Who knows what the poor mother is going through!!!

Actually, come to think of it, I really can't recall a time in which I would have ever commented on a baby's size, other than saying that the baby is growing well... and commenting on how beautifully little my friends premmy babies were (one born 29 weeks, the other born 27 weeks).

Well... all that matters is that my little man is happy... he can stay sitting up by himself now, which is the cutest thing ever to see! He laughs at me when I am being silly, and he wakes talking to himself, which is a very pleasant change from the waking up crying business.

Harrison really is an amazing baby! 

Harrison Murray Lawrence entered the world today at 2:30pm. His Daddy, big brother James and big sister Madeleine were all present for his birth.

He was born with a gorgeous head full of brown hair. He looks just like his Daddy... he is a very gorgeous little man and we are all very proud of him

Harrison is a grandchild for Jenny and Paul & Sarah.

He is a new grandchild for Peter & Lynette.

He is also a new Great grandchild for Alan and Jean & Murray, and Jan & Terry.

He is also a new Great Great grandchild for Eileen

He is also has an angel brother ~Noah~ watching over him.
