| Our friend Ron offered to take Elise on a very slow motorcycle ride around his family's culdesack. So Elise put on the little helmet, and sat on the Honda Gold Wing in front of Ron, while she held onto his arms. Elise had so much fun honking the horn.

| Mommy, me and Auntie Buggs (Mommy's college friend) went for a trip over to Oroville to see one of Mommy's friends get married. Because Highway 20 was closed we had to go through Canada to get there.

Elise woke up early so she got to go back to sleep in Mommy and Daddy's bed. When she decided it was time to wake up for the morning, she touched Mommy's eye lid and said, "Eye." Then she pointed to her eye and said, "eye." So Mommy told her to go show Daddy where his eye was, and she went and poked Daddy in the eye and said, "eye." Everyone was up for the day!

Did you know that the popular Beethoven piano sonata, Fur Elise, was originally titled by another name? After writing one of his most famous piano works, Ludwig Von Beethoven fell in love with a lady who was so beautiful, graceful and charming that she captured his heart. Her name was Elise. He was sure that if he re-nammed this beautiful sonata for her "Fur Elise" translated into English is "For Elise," she woul fall madly in love with him. Unfortunately she never returned Beethoven's love and he died a very lonely man.

| We have two dogs at home and Elise loves to watch them run around. Every time she sees them she smiles and watches them run around. When she is on the floor near them, or has Mommy or Daddy helping her pet one of them she giggles so hard it makes everyone else laugh too.
