Hear me whistle!
posted on 04/02/2009

Today I learned how to whistle.  I can't whistle a specific tune, but I can make a whistle sound!  The funny thing is that while most people pucker up and blow to whistle, I pucker up and suck.  It still makes a whistle sound.

My Puppies Class...
posted on 03/31/2009

Today Mommy took Levi and I to MOPS.  I love going there, I get to go to my own class.  My class is called the Puppies.  We always learn a Bible verse, make an art project, and play in the big gym!  Levi gets to go to the nursery, but some day when he's bigger he can go to a class like me too!

I wish we could go all of the time, but Mommy has to work, so we only get to go when she's on vacation.

No More Pull Ups!
posted on 03/30/2009

Today was my very first day in big girls undies!  I have very cool Dora ones, and Mommy tells me that if I have an accident on Dora, she's be sad.  So I'm very careful not to have an accident on Dora, I sure wouldn't want to make her sad.  Mommy says that now I'm a big girl and that I'm growing up fast!  Mommy says she's very proud of me, and you know what?  I'm proud of myself too!

Went to the Pacific Science Center!
posted on 02/28/2009

Today my family woke up early.  We got ready to go for the day...and first on the to do list...a bunch of boring stuff.  Like taking Mommy and Daddy to the chiropractor and then taking my little brother to go get some shots.  But after all of that we headed south for Seattle!  We went to the Pacific Science Center and had a blast.  I played with so much stuff there.  There was a big bubble wall that I loved and Daddy and I went into the see live exotic butterflies.  They were beautiful.  We had so much fun that day that by the time we pulled into the driveway when we got home, Levi and I were already asleep!

Me and My Backpack
posted on 02/19/2009

Have I told you how much I love my backpack?  I wear it all around my house, even when I'm brushing my teeth sometimes.  I just love to play with it.  My favorite cartoon character, Dora, has one, so I like to pretend that my backpack is just like hers...filled with everything one would need including the kitchen sink!

I'm rich!
posted on 01/20/2009

For my birthday, Great Grandma gave me a check for $25!  Mommy took me to the bank so I could cash it myself.  I got to hand it to the teller, and then she counted back to me 25 one dollar bills.  I put them in my zipper purse so I could carry them home safely.  I was almost as excited about the money as I was about the sucker that they gave me at the bank!

When we got home, I had to re-count my dollar bills.  I can count to 10 very well, but after that it is a bit shakey, so there were some repeated numbers in there.  But none the less, I had fun counting my money.  Then I took each bill and crumpled it up and put it in my money jar.  Now with my birthday money combined with my commision money (the money I get paid for doing work) I have saved over $30!!  Mommy says we are going to split it into three envelopes, one for saving, one for spending (I like that one), and one for tithing/giving.  Sounds like managing money is a big responsibility, but I am learning.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
posted on 01/18/2009

My favorite song to sing is, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.  I can do it pretty well, although I like to make up my own melody.  Mommy sings it to me with the original melody, and told me that Mozart wrote the melody.  I have a Mozart doll, so I am a little familiar with who he is.  Then later in the day when I sang the song again, Mommy quizzed me and said, "who wrote the music for that song?"  I said, "MO-FART."

My birthda party!
posted on 01/17/2009

Today we celebrated my 3rd birthday.  Even though it's not until the 19th, we had my party today.  I had a Dora themed party, with a Dora cake, Dora balloons, Dora party favors, Dora games, Dora pinata...everything Dora!  A lot of my friends came to my party and we had fun playing games and eating goodies.
