6.30.09 Update

Daddy and I took a trip to his hometown of Escanaba soon after he finished teaching for the year.  We got to see Gran Joyce and Auntie Kaisa again (they visited in April and February, respectively) and--for the first time in almost a year--Grandpa Rick and Grandma Kris, Great-Grandmas Sophie and Jean, and the rest of the family.  Mr. Brian, Miss Gail, and Caleb Good were also in town, so we spent time with them and other friends, too.  Daddy's telling everyone that I was "an awesome traveler."  I think that's a good thing! 

Since we came home, I've spent lots of time outside in the sunny, warm June weather--enjoying new outdoor toys, splashing in our backyard kid pool, and learning to reach-and-pull-kick-kick-kick at Grammy and Grampy Bigler's pool.

Great-Grandma Verone

On May 22nd, my Great-Grandma Verone left for heaven.  She had said that one of the things she really wanted to do in life was meet a great-grandchild.  I'm glad we had time to know each other, Great-Grandma.  We love you and will remember you.
